Insulation Service
Owner/installer was very friendly and professional. Work was done efficiently and debris was cleaned up. The house stays very cool even on a hot day (we have no AC because we're back in the valley.) The manufacturer claims the cellulose is fire-retardant and has an insecticide mixed in so bugs won't be attracted to it. We have lived in the house for 3 years and see very few roaches, despite this being a 60 yr old home with holes in the siding. The cellulose, being a sprayed into the wall cavities, likely fills the gaps in construction reducing entry points for bugs. Sound still travels between bedrooms but it is definitely dampened by the insulation. The main material is old newspaper so it makes me happy that we're reusing a post-consumer resource instead of fiberglass. We're very happy with this insulation.
