Brenton was extremely helpful from design to completion.  We are very happy with the results.  The new kitchen is gorgeous.

From the start Greg was very professional and knowledgeable.  He listened carefully to the thoughts we had and what some of our intentions were.  He did a wonderful job on the design and we were very please with the layout.  After a few meetings in the showroom we had picked all the colors and finishes and things were on their way.  We were very excited.  When construction started we were very surprised at how clean all the demolition work was, plastic sheeting walls were enclosed around the construction area to help control dust.  We did find a few plumbing surprises in the wall but nothing they couldn't handle and the additional they charged was very reasonable.  It was great seeing the kitchen going from empty and the pieces slowly coming together, everyday we were excited to see what new progress they had made for the day.  All the workers were very polite, respectful, and talented.  There were multiple crews for the different parts of the job (demo/framing/plumbing/electrical/cabinet installation/counters) and were generally pleased with everyone.  There was a couple days the electrician didn't show up when he was supposed to but was understandable with the circumstances.  We also had a minor delay on the counter top installation so there were a few days no work was going on.  We were told the project would take 5 weeks and finished about 4 days later than expected.  Other than that I can't say enough about how much I LOVE the way my kitchen turned out.  It's just as we had planned from the beginning and working with Greg from start to finish was such a pleasure.  His service to us was great and we were in contact with him the entire project.  I would highly recommend Design Trends to anyone looking  for quality products, workmanship, and great design work.

The DTC crew was professional and took care to protect my carpet and furniture and was sure to clean up at the end of each day.  No debris was left on-site.  Overall, we were happy with their work and our kitchen is gorgeous.
Minor issues and recommendations to other customers:
1.  Brenton is usually anywhere from 15-45 minutes late, but he apologetic and has a good personality.  The actual construction crew is on-time.
2.  We wanted to use one contractor for all of the work and had DTC install our bamboo floors.  I would recommend hiring a professional floor installer next time.
3.  The shut-off valve for our refrigerator water line froze and leaked after the refrigerator was re-installed, damaging the newly installed floors.  I would recommend that you have this valve replaced whether you need to or not...cheap insurance.
4.  DTC quoted an installation cost of $75 per lighting fixture.  They did not state that this cost is only to replace an existing fixture and we wanted to add light fixtures.
5.  Make sure you know what you want in finishes, etc.

Brenton measured twice for the overall project.  When it was delivered there was a seven inch discrepancy.  I accepted the unit anyway.  Did not want to wait another month for the project to finish.  The workmanship and cabinetmaker/installer were excellent.  It looks beautiful and I get lots of compliments on the unit.  I would hire them again if needed.

So far so good. There are a few cosmetic problems that they need to address but since they are not quite finished yet, I will reserve comment on that.

Initial contact at a trade show was professional.  All call backs and appointments were on time, and scheduled time lines for contacts were on time.  Every contact from everyone was professional.  Design Trends Construction exhibited complete professionalism from start to finish.  Each employee took total ownership of the job as a whole, there was no compartmentalized attitude.   I was assisted with referrals to outside appliance and special product suppliers for my specific choices, Design Trends followed up with scheduling deliveries: I had no worries.    The design service and drawings were fantastic:  I could see that we were all thinking the same thing.  Suggestions on the layout and functions were excellent--I had never thought of them--and I am thrilled to be living with them now.   I trusted Design Trends to the degree to just say: "surprise me."  I have no complaints on the decisions made on the job or finalizing the design; I'm thrilled with them!   It was interesting that suppliers volunteered that Design Trends Construction was a terrific company; and, several other contractors who bid for me offered that Design Trends Construction was excellent.  The final price is within the range quoted: the "set price" was right on, and the "unknown variables" were right in the range given.    I recommended the company to several people looking for a contractor, to relatives, and here.   I would repeat the job with Design Trends Construction.   I should add that I had seriously been looking for a contractor for the kitchen/bath for five years:  Design Trends Construction hit all the marks.

Very good experience...would definitely use them again.

Work was fair at best, owner was very difficult to work with, son missed items in quote and they came back to ask for more money, left wall and doors with cement all over them, never apologized for any mistakes, very late finish of job because other jobs were bigger and more important, customer service was terrible once signed contract.
