Condominium Rentals Hawaii

Everything went very well. The condo was clean and check in was very easy. The location of the Pono Kai Resort was very convenient as I was able to go for a job on the paved beachfront path out front and also walk to dinner and shave ice at night. I would stay here again!

Condominium Rentals Hawaii (CRH) contacted me days after my confirmed booking to tell me the unit I was confirmed into was not available and they were "upgrading" me to another complex. I wasn't entirely convinced the "upgrade" was an upgrade but I decided to go ahead. The first morning of our stay, we turned on the lights in the kitchen to see a scurry of cockroaches fleeing for cover. I contacted CRH to see if they could move us to a unit that was not infested with bugs but they were unable to move us. The indicated something might free up in a couple days and they would let us know. We killed dozens of bugs a day and saw dozens more get away. We contacted the Condo complex and they sent someone over to spray to kills the bugs. When we contacted CRH to see if another unit was freeing up, they told us nothing was available. They had originally offered a refund but when I inquired how much if any could be refunded if I found other accommodations, they went dark and stopped responding to me. I will NEVER use CRH again. They should pay closer attention to their stock of condos. In addition to being bug infested, this was the most poorly stocked condo I've ever stayed in. They had sleeping space for 3 separate places but only 2 sets of sheets. There was hardly any cleaning supplies or other kitchen amenities. The unit was not stocked with the amenities that I am accustom to when booking a unit in Maui. I am used to booking directly via VRBO.com but there wasn't any stock available so I tried a rental agency. NEVER AGAIN. I am not sure of their other available stock but can only assume they get the bottom of the barrel based on this unit.
