After waiting nearly one month for work to begin, it took this supplier weeks to get most of work done and he never finished the job to our satisfaction. His workers created additional problems which did not exist when he started the job on our roof.
After power washing his workers damaged our water heater's solar system and we had to have that repaired by a reputable company.
After replacing part of the roof which he said needed to be done our roof leaks like a sieve (much worse than the original small leak problem he was doing the work for) and we had to hire a skilled roofer to come and correct the problems.
I do not recommend this company at all.
When we called him to let him know that the roof leak was not fixed he yelled and cursed at my husband (we have a recording of this) and told us that he was finished with our house and that there was nothing more he could do for us. He called my husband an f****** liar and told us to sue him.

"When first contacted by (removed member name) I told him that I didn't think the roof could be fixed because of the improper way it was built. He said he had problems for years and told me how he wanted me to fix it, I complied and stated that I in no way would stand behind the work because my experience(50 years) said no way it could repaired with the money he was willing to spend. I did go back many times and it came back to poor original design.. (removed member name) always had alcohol on his breath and would not listed to what I said, only what he wanted to hear! (removed member name) got abusive to me and I finally lost my temper. It's difficult to deal with a man in and alcoholic haze. I would like see if it is really fixed, and talk to the person who he says fixed it."

Great communication. Answered all phone calls and questions. Started and finished job quickly. Jim came by to supervise the job and to check on our satisfaction. Workers were friendly and professionals. Very satisfied with the end product. Will definitely recommend him to others.

It took twice as long to complete versus the time quoted however in expenses it was only 30 hours over the quote.

Jim was great. He came out the very same day I called him and materials delivered the following day. He did not charge for delivery of the materials, which I thought was wonderful.
The subcontractor he used to do the work was not the best. The workmanship was shoddy, and part of that was my fault because he charged by the hour and I wanted the job finished as quickly as possible (for obvious reasons). It would have been better to charge by the job rather than the hour.
I would entertain using Handy Jim Dandy in the future but only if he charged by the job and not by the hour.

I thought he was excellent, and so were the people who worked for him. He was utterly reliable and he and his people knew what they were doing. I would tell the others that he runs a real and good business with trucks.
