I took my dog there on Monday 9/30/13. He was in anaphylactic shock from a centipede bite. His face was completely swollen. His eyes swollen shut and was having trouble breathing. He was even bleeding from his rectum. My usual vet is Animal House in Ewa Beach but I didn't think I could make it in time. I ran inside with him and they put me in a waiting room. After about 3 minutes she came back in and told me that the vet was busy and they couldn't help me. I said but this is an emergency!! All she said was he is busy, sorry. THEY TURNED ME AWAY WITH MY DYING DOG. I called animal house in ewa and told them I was on my way. They had all the shots ready and waiting when I got there. If you need a vet don't go here. Go to Animal House.

They can get you in quickly for a sick animal, and are very nice. Good service for routine stuff, but whenever something complicated is needed they send you to Waipahu Animal Clinic. I wish they could provide full service here in Kapolei.

I just adopted a dog from shelter and wanted him checked out. This is my first dog, so I also needed new owner information.Very professional on the phone, the nurse scheduled the appointment for the same day even though it was not an emergency. When we arrived the wait time was less than 5 minutes the office/waiting area was clean and smelled fresh, not what I was expecting.The nurse and doctor were friendly and helpful answering all my silly new owner questions (like how much do I feed my dog, is he the right weight?). They gave me options for heart worm and flea prevention, all while tending to and making Simon (my dog) comfortable.Very positive experience and I was able to gain some knowledge, feeling better it came from a professional.:)

Going to Animal Clinic Kapolei is always a positive experience. The Vets and Techs are very caring and try to make the pets (and me) comfortable. Although they don't perform their services for free, they will explain everything, the associated costs, what the costs will produce, and then allow you to make the decision. I've been using this clinic for over three years and have nothing but good things to say about the entire clinic, and their love for animals.
