M Squared Design, LLC

Iâ m a contractor and I was in search of an architect for a big job that weâ re doing over at Ala Moana shopping center. I spoke with a few architects about the project but they were more interested in finding out what our budget was so they would know how much to charge me for the job. After speaking with Mark from M Squared Designs I knew I wanted to use him for the job. He was very detailed and thorough throughout the whole process. Heâ s very knowledgeable, and trustworthy with everything if I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Iâ m so glad that I decided to go with M Squared Designs and will be using them from now on for every project that my company will need for future jobs. Mark has been a godsend to my preschool. He went above and beyond the norm to assist in the preparation for Blessed Kids Learning Center. When there was no where to go he opened up the doors for us and if it wasn't for him we would not have a center. Thank you lord for sending Mark to help us with this project. I definitely recommend him for your next architectural project.

Works well with you on many levels to help accomplish your goals while keeping integrity and goals

Mark was extremely helpful through my whole office build out. He helped through the whole planning process and the submission of my plans through Palekana Permitting and Planning. Any time I called or emailed him he responded promptly. He helped me to find an affordable contractor with commercial experience, and he even helped me to deal with the land lord's architect, DPP, and HECO. I'd recommend Mark to anyone who needs an architect for a commercial office build out.

Our working relationship is at its infancy stage. We have only started on initial designs.

Our Master Suite renovation was a huge success in part because of Mark Matsumoto's contribution. The initial concept he came back with utilizing our little extension and existing space was just what we needed, the end result is actually better than we anticipated. He saw our project through the end with the General Contractor he recommended, so when challenges arose (as they always do) they were able to deal with these situations quickly and effectively.

We have hired Mark Matsumoto. He is a delight to work with. We have not waited on him and he has had the land surveyed and acquired a civil Eng for the fill and grade. We are now in the planning stage for the blue prints. So far this job has gone very well. Not bad for no personnel contact with Mark. We will meet him at the site on 2/13/08.
