Fabulous! One of the only companies who show up when they say and fix the problems! As a property manager of a few handful of homes, with constant repair needs, it's important to work with people who show up and do good work and this company is my go to!

Arrived promptly and were able to knock both projects out in a timely manner at a reasonable price. Would definitely hire again. This did span a 2 day time period and also included a door bell installation at my mother's house.

Mr. Schenk arrived promptly on the appointed day, and I was quite surprised to see so many workers!  He had his sister, brother and friend all employed in completing the list.  Each was assigned a task, and worked diligently to complete it. And all 4 electricians were as pleasant as they were hard working.  Within a few hours all the items on my list were completed to our utmost satisfaction.  We have high praise for the whole K Schenk operation, and will certainly highly recommend their services.

Job took about 20 minutes. 
Iolani did a good job.

Kaulana, his sister ?Iolani and his apprentice Ikaika did the job.
The job took about three hours.
They made sure everything worked and I was satisfied, and adjusted things until I was satisfied.
Kaulana found that the extension's circuit had tripped and fixed that.
He also found that power was going to the fluorescent tube light fixtures in the house extension and diagnosed that the problem was probably faulty ballast.
He said that replacing the fixtures would be more cost-effective than replacing the ballasts.
I bought each of them plate lunches in appreciation.

Kaulana came by promptly and spent a good amount of time trouble shooting and charged nothing. He offered to come by again if the problem persists. When all is said and done, if there is work to be done (I think there will be) I will once again hire this company. They are professional, honest, truly licensed professionals.

Kaulana is professional, punctual and very reasonable. He came to my house to look at the scope of work and sent his journeyman the next day for my job. The journeyman is also professional and very neat. He even corrected the recessed light cans that were installed improperly. I'm glad I found them on a small job, I will want to have them return for my whole house renovation in the near future.

It's great. Nobody's off the electric grid. It's just you could use your own power. It seeps back into the electricity and then at night time, you draw it back. Our electric bill is $17.00 a month. I would definitely recommend them. They're very professional and very honest. They know what they're doing. He came out to repair something that my husband couldn't repair and my husband is an electrical engineer so it said something to us. They send you quotes on the internet which is really nice for you have everything right in front of you in black and white, how much the cost is going to be. They give you a time they're gonna do it and they show up and they do it. I thought his price was very reasonable. We've had him out here several times.

Prior owners had ceiling lights installed with questionable wiring apparent when I was updating light switches. Kaulana showed up on time. He looked at existing wiring, quickly recognized the problem and proceeded to rewire to meet code and all the lights were working within 45 minutes. He also looked at a few other switches and outlets to confirm no major problems except outlets on 1 side of house were not grounded (we knew from inspection). He was very pleasant, competent and efficient. Cost for trouble shooting was on high side at $220, but another electrician told us that he would need to completely rewire each ceiling light for a cost of approximately $1500. We have an estimate for additional work with very reasonable pricing. I highly recommend this company.

Staff arrived a little late. Was very professional - although the electrician admitted he was still training to be an electrician and certification almost completed. Work was done in timely manner and staff was very professional . Sheet metal employee did a good job, although I can still see where other lighting was on the ceiling after we painted. I would still recommend this company highly .

K. Schenk Electric communicated and responded quickly to my need for installation of a LED light strip on a dimmer switch. I had purchased the parts myself and they were correct. The electricians also installed a quad outlet and a smoke detector. Two nice young, qualified, LICENSED electricians arrived on time and demonstrated efficiency, proficiency, concern for my needs. They were clean, careful, and did an excellent job on all three projects. I will hire K Schenk again in the future and recommend them without reservation.

What a wonderful experience! Jason was on time (even a bit early, which is unheard of in Hawaii!). Jason arrived, he got straight to work and explained things thoroughly. Anela scheduled the job and even honored the Angie's List 10% coupon which had expired. K Shenk is tops in our book and we will definitely pass on the referral to our family and friends and continue to use them in the future.

Provider was very responsive, very professional, on time, and got the work done. Provider also honored the 10% discount coupon from Angies list (even though i lost the coupon).
My only comment for "room for improvements" is to clean up behind when the work is done and do better finishes (cocking around the circuit breaker box). If it was not for these details, my overall rating would be A instead of B.
