C Summo Construction LLC

The project was a nightmare from the very start. C. Summo Comstruction took a large deposit to start the project then disappeared for weeks. His excuse was that he was waiting to fix his boom truck. When he finally started the job his crew of 2 people only worked a few days a week and many times they worked for less than eight hours a day when they did show up. The Company owner, Chris Summo, was rarely at the job site and showed little interest in the project or oversight of the work being performed. Chris Summo would rarely answer his phone or respond to e-mail messages. . The project was required by contract to be completed within 6 months but was only about 70 percent complete after 13 months had elapsed. C. Summo Construction completely abandoned the project after 13 months and never completed the project. He did no pay his subcontractors for their services. The plumbing contractor had to request payment from us since C. Summo Construction would not pay him for the work he performed. His construction vehicles caused numerous cracks in the sidwalks and driveway during construction which were never repaired. The quality of work was poor and he never repaired idenified construction deficiencies. There were numerours instances where the contractor failed to follow the drawing and specification requirements. For example, incorrect hurricane brackets were installed and had to be removed and replaced on all roof trusses but only after we demanded the brackets required by the drawing be installed. In our option this contractor should have his contacting license revoked. DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR.
