Great prep work, easy to work with, accommodated all requests and changes, really went out of his way to match trim color to specifications (and it turned out fabulous) and he accommodated my odd schedule, finishing the work as proposed, even with changes. Very satisfied.

Larry at Wongham's painting was great to work with. He's honest, professional and easy to work with. Larry and his crew showed up on time, finished on budget and ahead of schedule. The job was fairly priced and the work was great. I'd definitely recommend Wongham's painting to anyone and we will use them again.

Larry Wongham did a fantastic job! He listened carefully to us and was willing to answer all our questions and concerns before he began working. He was prompt (8am!), courteous, and very professional. The job took several days and Larry made sure to clean up at the end of each day to minimize any inconvenience to us. Now the job is done and we LOVE the way it turned out. The damaged wall was beautifully repaired. The walls and crown molding are perfect. We plan to hire Larry for future work and recommend him without any reservations. Two thumbs up!

We're selling our house on somewhat short notice and called Larry after reading another review on Angie's List. Plus Larry lives nearby and thought that would be convenient. Larry came over and gave me a quote for the 3 bedrooms on the spot. The quote was the amount I had budgeted for and was hoping for and so we accepted.
Larry started right away with the first 2 bedrooms. We had moved everything into the living room. These 2 rooms were done in, I think 4 days. The painting was excellent. All of the prep work he did was especially impressive. After a weekend break, and time for us to move the stuff out of last bedroom, Larry completed the 3rd bedroom in 2 days. This was a bigger room and had some really deep dings. The walls are nice and smooth.
Besides the quality of the work, what I really liked about Larry was that he did exactly what he said he was going to do and finished when he said he would.

I recently bought this 50 year old and quot;sugar-caneand quot; style home. There was much prep work to be done to this single-wall home - patching nail holes, sanding and filling termite-eaten window sills, careful taping around floor quarter-rounds to keep paint off bamboo flooring, etc.
I chose Wonghams Painting because he was highly recommended as excellent quality for a reasonable price and completed the work as promised (sometimes a challenge to find in Hawaii).
We started with picking colors. I wanted 3 different colors in each bedroom and bathroom, and colors that combined them all in the living room-kitchen. Larry was great in coaching me and advising me on colors to accomplish what I wanted while maximizing use of the paint to make the project more affordable. He selected only the best grade of paint, which cost more, but I intend to live in this house for a long time with 2 large dogs and 3 visiting grandchildren. The paint needed to be durable and last.
He arrived in the morning, moved all my heavy furniture to the center of the room, took down my curtains and pictures, covering everything with his drop-clothes. He spent the entire first part of the day prepping the walls and window-sills. After lunch he painted the first coats on the walls. The next day, he applied the 2nd coat and after that dried, he cut in the trim, windowsills and doors.
Larry had all his own equipment needed nothing from me. He did a great job cleaning up at the end of each day and walking me through the final inspection. He noticed areas to touch up that I never saw. His attention to detail and eye for quality were remarkable and very welcome. He put all furniture back and offered to put the curtains back up (I declined as I have new ones on order).
Larry was respectful, neat, polite, honest, trustworthy and very professional. I'd highly and completely recommend him to anyone having their home or business painted. I work during the day and completely trusted him in my house - he even made friends with my dogs who looked forward to him showing up each day!
