CON ARTIST - Expect minimal effort on your job and lots of smoke breaks! Daily routine is showtime between 10:30-11:30am, work for about 20 min followed by an hour smoke break.......wash-rinse-repeat for the next 2-3 hours-until their workday is complete (2:30-3:00pm)......After all of the talking and smoking that 2-3 hours at your job site equals only 1 hour of work per day on your job. Kawika Pitt (DBA Oahu Clearouts) believes that commute time to and from Kailua to your job site counts, not time spent actually doing the job which will drag out the project and your costs since he expects you to pay his guys full daily wages that he states as part of his expenses are $150 a day each. Additionally my neighbors complained about the Kawika Pitt (DBA Oahu Clearouts) non-stop talking which consumed those hour long smoke breaks. Kawika Pitt (DBA Oahu Clearouts) will also initially tell you he owns his own equipment (tractor), that’s how he keep their prices low, however, the story will change (along with the cost of the job), and he will tell you his equipment is on another job and he is renting the one on your job for $200 a day. None of this is true, he does not own machinery and rents his equipment from a legitimate landscaping company for only $130 a day. Job (before/after pics below) was not completed as agreed upon (clearing rocks from lot) and owner twisted the story around and called me a liar, cussed me out, and yelled a racial slur as he drove off leaving the job half done and a HUGE mess......Unfortunatly I paid him in good faith, and for that he told me I was stupid and just learned a lesson.....After the fact I have found out that I am not the only one to be conned by Kawika Pitt (DBA Oahu Clearouts). BBB reflects a complaint filed and i will file another one. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES, YOU WILL BE SCAMMED.
