Showed up on schedule after calling to advise he was enroute - rare for Hawaii. Reviewed the list and materials I had purchased to determine most expedious and thus least expensive way to proceed. Worked professionally, quickly and continuously; pausing rarely to take phone calls and ate from his lunch pail as he worked. He pointed out preventive maintenance items I can do to prevent having to call him back and suggested materials to use in this moist climate. (Sixth light fixture in 12 years in bath due to high humidity and salt air, for example.) Since he is not a licensed electrician, he did not run a line to add an exterior outlet. I found his work ethic and honesty quite refreshing. This is the first time I have not had to clean up after a handyman or lamented calling a particular one. I have already started another list and will call him when I have a day's worth of work for him.
