Excellent. Personable, very responsive, friendly service, and I received a lot of excellent, free advice, too. They came when they said they would come!!! The house we bought is, in many ways, a fixer-upper, so we have much plumbing work to come, and PSI will be the company we call for all of it...I will use ONLY this company when I have plumbing needs, as this superb level of service is very difficult to find anywhere, but especially in Kona.

It was busy Thanksgiving week. Other plumbers in Kona did not even return my call. PSI was extremely responsive. First, they said the schedule was too full, then called me back after making special arrangements to fit me into the schedule. Came out on time and got things fixed right away so we had water to the house again. I was extremely grateful and would use them again for emergencies as well as routine work.

They were great. Came out within a couple of days. Fixed the problem quickly and reasonably.

I found and called these folks because of their high rating on Angies list. Two plumbers were scheduled because the tub install requires at least two guys. They showed up on time on the appointed day. The scheduled day was about 10 days after my first call, which was OK, because I told the office person that the job was not urgent. I live up in Waimea, 45 miles from their home base in Kona. I was glad they were willing to come all the way to Waimea for a job. They  did not charge for travel time, but I think their hourly rate is a bit higher for far away jobs. It was a time and materials job (I did not ask for a quote). I did have to pay both guys wages though.
The job ended up having some surprises (probably typical old house remodel types of surprises) that neither I nor them expected. This ended up making the job take about twice as long as i expected. Definitely not their fault.  The rolled with the punches with good attitudes. They worked hard and did not take unreasonable breaks or lunch. 
They were very professional. The quality of work was very good. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

They did a FABULOUS job!!! I work for a general contractor and I am familiar with the trades and they know what they are doing, I would highly recommend them for any job. I was very impressed!!!

I would HIGHLY recommend PSI. I found them on Angie's List and after reading the positive reviews, I sent an e-mail to them and Tony replied promptly. Sent him a picture of the problem part and he knew right away what the fix would be. I had someone at my place on a particular morning and Heather was able to squeeze me in. I had to pay $20 more on the base labor rate, but it was worth it. The two gentlemen that came were very friendly and helpful and gave me tips on ways to improve my bathroom which was damaged from the previous owner's kids.

Alex was polite, clean, knowledgeable, and on-time. He spent a lot of time at my house with all my little plumbing issues, and gave me cheaper alternatives to what could have been more expensive fixes. I highly recommend Plumbing Strategies.

Great company to deal with. I live off island and have a rental condo in Waikoloa. They helped me track down warranty information on my existing water heater and then met my tight replacement schedule to get everything done before my next renter arrived. Very professional and clean service staff. I did not even have to have the cleaner back in after the job was done.

Arrived on time and replaced a pressure line to my sprinkler system as well as replacing a defective water pressure regulator. Very personable and professional crew. They did a great job. I would also like to commend the PSI Office Manager for her friendly attitude and professionalism. They were all a pleasure to do business with and if I ever need another repair they will be the first company I call.

We live on mainland, but own a condo in Kona that we rent out. Being so far away can sometimes make minor problems a real hassle. Plumbing Strategies Inc. was a pleasure for us to deal with on the phone (they were very helpful) from so far away and also received a glowing report from our tenants (which adds to our good experience). The plumber who was sent out was very punctual, respectful and kind to the tenants.
This is our first experience with Angie's List and we are very happy. We will be back!

Got a call for the Hawaii water department that our use on our rental/future retirement home, that use had gone from 4000 gallons to 106,000---yikes. Bill was at 550$. We live out of state so managing this quickly meant dealing with companies who respond to inquiries and were willing to act fats...and working with our tenant. There is no drip irrigation system or pool, so the leak had to be inside. This company sent someone right away. He had to replace the pressure valve and we also had him replace all the insides of the 3 toilets and some other fixtures to assure we had no problems...sort of preventive maintenance. Plumbing Strategies was excellent in staying in touch with us, explaining that pressure in our area is high and erratic due to having to pump the water up the hill ( near palisades). I am grateful to Plumbing Strategies for their excellent work and attention to this quickly. I had tried others and they didn't even call back.

I received a note from Water Co., that I have a leak, cuz my water consuption was double the normal rate. Note that I had this same problem about 15 month ago, was fixed after a bill of #1,000.00 from another co. Tony came to inspect the leak, since the pipes were underground, was difficult to see where the leak came from, since I had the same problem before, it could be the same place, so Tony suggested that we could connect the water line above ground from the Meter to the house. What a brillant idea, why did I not have thought about it ? Well, they did exactely what should be done, gave me an estimate, came in few days and fixed the problem for good, cuz now, I can see the leak, if there is ever another, hope note. Tony was great, but Roger and Colt were the 2 gentlemen that did the work, they are the BEST, great job, and very friendly. Very happy with their services.d

All went well since my husband nor I had to get down on our knees and try this ourselves. Also my husband has water karma and I would have been the cleaner.

We call them in the morning and they set up a time to come to snake the sewer line. They said they would be here at 8:30 am. They were here and ready to work at 8:30 am. They have state of the art equipment. They did their job in 1 and a half hours and left. They charged us $450. The next day our pipes were not draining again, so we called them again. When we told them what happened they came right out and resnaked the line and had some other people come to help dig up the line and find the problem. It was a large rock the had been pushed under the line from anearthquake. They had to replace the section of pipe. They worked about 3 hours and only charged us another $150. This company is the best.
