Phil can do so much around the home and he is so reliable and honest. It is hard to find someone who has the breadth of skills that he has combined with enough integrity to say when it is not in his domain (major plumbing and dry wall) to do. He is great to trouble shoot your challenges and at the end of the conversation, he is so good at problem solving that he finds a way to get the work done. YES hire him!

We experienced a problem which needed to be fixed immediately, Though Phil was booked for the day - and it was the weekend - he stayed on the phone with us and guided us through a solution to solve a very serious problem. His solution was quick and effective. Not a dime was charged or even requested. He was exceptionally helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We will use Platinum Remodeling for our next home project.

We hired Phil to redo our master bath and also make some changes to our laundry room.    Phil is very honest, gave us some great ideas and didn't seem to get tired of us poking our nose in during the project.   He shows up on time every day and works hard all day long.  
I honestly can not express how pleased we are with the results.   Phil did all the demo in our master bath, rebuilt the shower from scratch and also tiled the master bath floor.   He takes such pride in his tile work and it shows.   The small details that he did are outstanding.  
For the laundry he rearranged the room so that the washer and dryer could be moved to a new location and then he also tiled the floor in the room.   Again, he did such a great job and the room is so much more functional with the new layout.  
We have two more baths that need work and plan to have Phil do those as well.   You really can't go wrong hiring Phil.

Our concrete slab patio has a drop off at one end that is dangerous to our toddler. The contractor, Phil Roppo, built an attractive and safe deck fence. We have used Phil for several other jobs and have always been satisfied.

Phil was always on time, explained the procedures, offered suggestions, was courteous, careful, and professional.I can say that Phil treated our house and the project as if he were doing it for his own house.  Phil works like 'old world' craftsmen.  Phil could certainly put his 'bench mark' on his work.

Phil was very responsive and transparent with his pricing and schedule. He gave me feedback on the pitfalls if some of my possible redecorating ideas (ex: painting over wood cabinetry). He completed all work on schedule and on budget.

Phil Roppo has completed several jobs over the last six months. These included outside security lights, attic floorspace, building of two interior walls, complete remodel of master bathroom, exterior painting, and flooring for entire house. All work was done efficiently and professionally.  Phil is always very friendly and helpful in his advice. The next scheduled job will be the interior painting of most of the rooms. Obviously, I love his work!

Phil was true to his word, as he and his subcontractors showed up each day, on time. They performed quality work but we did have a bit of an issue with the prep work not being what it perhaps should've been on the cabinets, as the paint in some areas did not adhere as it should and we'll have to do a bit of touch up work ourselves. Also, the prep work on the walls could've been better, as we may need to repaint a few areas there too.
Overall, we were pleased with the work Phil performed. He is a knowledgeable contractor who brought several items to our
attention and even made a few suggestions/recommendations regarding work that we wanted completed.
We have recommended him and would hire him again.

We brought Phil in to retile our master bathroom and shower. Our original shower had broken tiles on the floor and it was beginning to leak so we had to get it done. The total cost for the project (not counting what we spent on the tiles) was around $3200 plus $700 to the subcontractor that provided the frameless glass door. All in all, we were very pleased with the result! My wife said that it seemed like we had our own little spa now!

Phil showed up on time for the estimate and the actual work (usually working 9:00 am to 3-5 pm once the project started). He was very courteous and answered all of our questions. He always cleaned up after himself and we are very pleased with the quality of his work. But more than that, I feel that we?ve made a new friend and have someone reliable and trustworthy that we can always call on for future needs!

Phil has lots of experience and is a problem solver.  His work is carefully and thoughtfully done.  The end result is a great finished product.  He was here for many jobs and is my first "go to" person for anything in this almost 30 year old house.

My wife and I had full intentions of performing a DIY bathroom renovation project which included removing wallpaper, replacing hideous 1980's tile and vanity.   We had purchased the vanity, sink, tile and everything we needed.  Once we started the project, it was problem after problem.  The wallpaper removal ended up destroying the finish on the sheetrock, the tile demo was making a huge mess and I knew it was going to take far more time and labor than we had planned.    I called Platinum and was immediately called back by Phil the owner.   He came out at a convenient time and quickly provided us with an estimated with an itemized cost breakdown and scope of work to complete the project.     We agreed to furnish all the materials required and he would provide labor to remove and replace the tile, reinstall the toilet and install the new vanity, granite, sink and associated plumbing.  He gave us available dates and we hired him.    He showed up exactly at 9 am as promised and worked each day for the 3 days he estimated.  We did need few odd parts and Phil ran down to Home Depot only asking to be repaid for the materials purchased.  
Bottom line-Phil did exactly what he said he would do, when he said he would do it for a very fair price.   I trusted him in my home alone and had absolutely no issues.    The world would be a better place if all contractors where as good to work with!
Highly recommended and we will have him back to do additional work in the future.

He is a very nice guy and he does the plumbing and electrical work as well. However, I think he overestimated the material, but he is very good with tiles.
