He quoted $450 for work that took only 6 - 7 hours to complete between two workers.  He arrived late and was in such a rush to do the job that he didn't check to see that everything was done well.  He tried to get out of certain work saying that he wasn't going to haul everything we agreed to but I told him that he would have to haul what we agreed to.  He said they were going to rake and haul the rubbish but he didn't rake and left some waste.  It wasn't meticulous.



The beds that they weeded was like a rush job.  He left behind small weeds and dead leaves.  They were supposed to remove all the zoysia grass from the bed but looking in between some of the agapanthus plants were a lot of stollens.



They hand pulled weeds on a hillside.  He said that was going to weed eat the shorter weeds but instead he poisoned and said he would be back to weed eat.  I hardly doubt it.  You would think he would weed eat first and then poison.



The worst part of their work was that he pulled out two rare poha plants that he didn't tell about but later said he was going to pull out the plants because they are a pest where he lives and I told him, "No."  Later I noticed the irrigation hoses and missing plants.  He filled in the hole so you couldn't really tell that they were missing.



Be cautious because he knows how to work around you.  He might show you pictures to convince you that he does good work but take caution.  He is not about the customer.
