They installed a supposedly brand new compressor and it failed right away. Not sure if it was faulty as they claimed, or it had been installed wrong. They installed another one - also supposedly brand new - and it worked - for a while.
Since I wanted to be sure this was a new compressor and under the factory warranty they told me about, I wanted them to give me the original paperwork - or even copies - from the manufacturer. They said they would but never did. I called and emailed them several times but felt like I was trying to collect money from a deadbeat. They gave me broken "computer excuses" for a while they put me on their spam list so I couldn't email them anymore and just pretty much refused to give me any paperwork other than the original invoice from them which told me nothing about the compressor they installed. I have no idea what the brand name is, let alone the model number or other info. Their invoice says that it was new but how would I know?
Of course the original problem returned but I had another company take care of it for $200. Bottom line is I paid them over $2200 and they never fixed the original problem and I have no paperwork for warranty information and no way of knowing if they even installed a new compressor. Talking to other store owners here on Maui, I have heard many similar complaints. I only wish I would have consulted Angie's List before calling them in the 1st place.
