CENTRAL MAUI ANIMAL CLINIC INC

Everyone I dealt with was very good. The vet took his time, was very good with my frightened cat, and took time to explain to me. The desk personnel and other vets were very helpful also. The scary part was the waiting room, as there were several boisterous dogs wanting to meet my cat, who was very stressed, and the dogs' people did not restrain them well.

Each time we go - they are professional and knowledgible on any subject I have on my pet. They take good care of us and our dog and never seem to be overpriced. They treat your pet like family.

My dog, Pono, was due for her annual exam and the vet that I had been seeing, and loved, left the clinic I had been going to for the last 5 years. I thought since I would have to see another vet at my usual clinic, I may as well check out some of the other clinics in my area. I had heard good things about Central Maui Animal Clinic, so I decided to give them a try. I searched on line and found a few negative reviews on them, but they were a couple of years old and the complaints did not seem very serious to me. Some of the reviews said they were pricey and and quot;all about the moneyand quot;., but based on my experience I found the complete opposite to be true. In fact, they actually saved me money. During my dog's previous annual check-ups she was always tested for heart worm and internal parasites. The Vet tech at Central Maui asked me some questions about my pet's bowel movements and if I gave her monthly heartworm prevention meds. Based on my answers, he said there was no reason to run the tests. My visit with them was only one quarter of what I usually pay for Pono's annual check up! I really liked Central Maui Animal Clinic's website. It had a wonderful section describing each Veterinarian and their specific experience. Because my dog suffers from frequent allergies, I made our appointment with Dr. Michael King. He was wonderful I absolutely loved him! He was very warm, very affectionate towards my dog, intelligent and very professional. He was very easy to talk to and had a great sense of humor. He gave me all the time I needed, answered all my questions and gave some good advice and recommendations on how I can better handle my dog's allergies. My experience at Central Maui Animal Clinic was so positive that I have decided that I will switch clinics. Everyone I met there, the receptionist, the vet tech, the doctor and the cashier were all friendly, caring and professional. I highly recommend this place!

I totally trust the Doctor's at Central Maui Animal Clinic to take good care of our 'boys', Ok they're really dogs, but they are part of our family and they deserve the best. The Clinic does a great job of handling appointments and provides detailed estimates for those pricey health issues.
