On the surface it would seem to be a fairly routine project, however it was anything but routine since I hadn't been able to correct the problem despite two separate attempts over several years with disastrous results.
John Mowry is clearly a very experienced builder and a problem solver who thinks out of the box. His proposal was very fair based on other bids I received. He was able to assure me that he was up to the job and I sensed confidence when he told me that all would be well. This was important to me because several other companies seemed very unsure and told me that when it concerned water issues they could not guarantee their work. This was not very comforting to me.
John and his extremely competent crew were up to the challenge and did an excellent job. John was considerate and attentive to my needs and was always available when I had a question. He managed the sub-contractors who worked on my job well and kept them on schedule.
His Project Manager, Richard Wolfe was very professional and managed his crew very well. They arrived on the job in a timely manner and were courteous, friendly and pleasant and always left the job site clean and tidy at the end of the work day.
In short the experience was wonderful. The job was a big success since there have been numerous heavy Kona rains since the project was done and I am delighted with the result. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Mr. John Mowry and his company to anyone who is looking for a professional, reliable, competent building company. Any future work I have done at my home will be done by John Mowry and Town & Country Building company.
