These guys were wonderful - came quickly to do the estimate, gave me a break on the price over what others had quoted, and did the work fast, and with great care over the details in my beautiful old home.

These guys stood out from the pack for a couple of reasons. They were significantly cheaper but that was not the main reason we picked them. We knew we wanted louvers. When we called other places they would say yes they have louvers, then they would come out and try to talk us into something else. They always make it sound like they had our best interests at heart and would say the Breezways were junk. But I checked other reviews and people loved the Breezways and I definitely got the impression that the other guys were just more comfortable with other windows, or maybe there was a bigger mark up on them. I suppose we'll find out eventually if we made the right choice as far as the product goes. But anyway, Glass Guru guys gave us what we wanted and we LOVE the new look and the fact that we can have a little bit of air circulating even when it is crazy windy outside as it is right now. Another thing we liked about Glass Guru is that there were no hidden fees. One estimate we got had a $250 delivery charge! That one also charged an extra $450 because these windows were on the second floor. They had to go and buy wood because there was a big gap when they took out the old windows. They did not charge us anything extra for that. They put down tarps to keep everything clean and also vacuumed afterwards. They were professional, nice, and competent. We are very satisfied with the work and the windows.
UPDATE: The day after the windows were installed when the sun shone directly on the obscure glass, we noticed some streaks. Called Glass Guru and they came out two days later. They confirmed there was an issue with 10 of the 18 pieces. They ordered new pieces, came out a week later and replaced all 18. Perfect!

Went well. The estimator showed up as scheduled. We got our estimate the next day. We signed the contract and paid out half. The windows are custom made in California so it takes a few weeks to get them installed. They scheduled a day for installation. Three guys spent 6 hours installing the windows, hauling away the old ones, and cleaned up. Very good job and we are quite happy. There was a sash that was faulty and it is taking some time to get a replacement part. They have to order from CA and that process is taking time. All in all, they were very good.

First, they were the quickest of the four companies that I contacted to respond and get an estimate. The owner was out the next day with his tablet and took detailed notes, measurements, and pictures of what I wanted. He had the estimate back to me within the next two days. He even offered to include adding space for a window a/c unit!
His estimate was over $2000 less than the other guys who I had to wait 2 weeks on estimates on! Of course, I immediately agreed and paid the 50% up front cost to order the materials on 20 JUN.
30 JUL the guys showed up and immediately got to work at 0900. By 1500 they were done with removal, installation, cleanup, and even installed the a/c unit for me! The guys were really polite, friendly, and professional. It's been a month and I have had no problems whatsoever with the work that they did. I use the door/windows/ac unit every single day.

They were on time, they cut the glass the day of. They were clean, neat, and polite. I would highly recommend them. They were easy to reach at any time, and when I had them do extra work, they didn't charge me for it. They also cleaned everything up, and kept everything neat while they did their job. They also did carpentry work to fit the windows perfectly. I love them.

Great. First cut was almost perfect for an untrue bulging in the middle wall which was also not perfectly square. They recut another mirror to be perfect. And returned two days later to install. It is beautifully done. Polite and clean. I highly recommend.

Door was ordered In November and scheduled to install before holidays. It was not installed until February. 2 workers who installed the door were courteous. I had to call them back twice, once to adjust the door handle which was not installed plumb, and once to change the door seal which was coming off. Door performs well and looks good.

Company was very prompt in providing an estimate and performing the work. The installers were knowledgeable and professional.

The workers were on time, and very conscientious about protecting my carpet, as this can be a messy job. They fixed windows that I was told by other companies would not be possible to repair. They also replaced locks that I was told were no longer available. There were two guys, as many of the heavy windows need two people to safely adjust. They finished the project in one day. Another company I spoke with told me the project would take about five days, with one man. I felt the quality of their work was excellent and they were knowledgable in their field.

the installation price was much cheaper from Chief Builders who does Vinyl window installations for lowes, at $185 per window. i ended up using glass guru becuase they were able to do the installation the same week. Chief was booked. used them on a smaller job where they supplied the window i think i probably should have called chief builders (preffered vendor of lowes) to handle the entire job, they would have framed out all 4 windows for half the price. After the installation was done, the owner had told me that the lowes window had a crack in it and he beleived it was purchased that way. The owner said to get a replacement and that they would install it. I didn't argue with him, about the crack exhisting on the window before installation or not, i just went ahead and got a replacement. But when i got the replacement the owner said he needs to charge me an additional $125 trip charge to go back and finish the job. I don't know about there prices for hardware, but i do know that the installation prices they have are not very competitive. Make sure the price with the hardware and installation is competitive.

I emailed the company on July 4 for a quote and received a response early the next morning. When I asked for a less expensive alternative, Inez responded promptly. To save on cost, the cabinets were taken to the company's office where the job was done immediately while I waited. Even though I was told that it would be cheaper if I installed the mirrors myself, they installed them for me which was greatly appreciated.
Parking is at a premium in the area but I was able to park at the company's site.
To sum up: responsive and professional. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

Overall went very well. To save on costs, I opted to take the window to their shop (rather than their picking it up, and returning it).Replacement was completed within a week as promised.I'm very satisfied, and would use their services again.

It went very well. They responded in a timely manner. They had the estimator out within a day and did the work the following week. All of them were excellent. They didn't leave a mess and cleaned up after themselves. They showed up on time and it took about as long as expected.

It went very well - they showed up on time and spent the whole day on it (a bit longer than they had originally estimated). But the windows work really really well and are a substantial improvement over the old jalousies.

Their rate was also thousands less than other folks - around half as much in some instances.

I'd highly recommend them and would use them again.
