Fantastic! We wanted to be green and have the materials from our house reused, and that is exactly what Re-Use Hawaii does. Their demolition estimate was a bit higher than those of regular demolition companies, especially since they do not remove the slab, but the value of the donated materials is considered a charitable deduction, so in our case after taxes the net cost for their work PLUS hiring another company to demolish the slab should be less than 1/3 the cost of having a demolition company just do the whole job. It was fascinating to watch and took 13 work days instead of 3, but they cleaned up very well at the end of each day, and there was almost no dirt or dust. The company and all employees are super nice and very professional. The kept us in the loop and showed up on time every day, started when they said they would start and finish when they said they would finish. It is a great company to work with and a terrific way to keep the landfills less full!
