I was originally scheduled for Sunday, so I texted them early that morning to let them know I left the gate open for them. Chris called back (he was always professional over the phone) to apologize and say there was an error, and that I was scheduled for Monday at 8:30 am. This was a problem for me as I was going to be staying on the North Shore and now needed to make a special trip back to accommodate them. Chris said he would comp the $70 travel time back from the North Shore to make up for it. I said ok. Monday, Micheal from QNQ Movers arrived on time. But the 2nd mover did not. Michael loaded what he could which was everything except for a large slab teak table. We waited around for an additional 30 minutes (which I wasn't charged for) and then decided that we would just take what we had loaded to the North Shore. Chris finally called back to say he would have another guy to help later that night. It was quite frustrating to try to schedule another move since I didn't want to drive to Hawaii Kai yet again. He said he would only charge me $70 to move the table on the special trip (even though, it was supposed to go with the first load and not really cost anything extra, I agreed). The table came out to the North Shore, and I added on a dump run for the two movers to make for me. That was really helpful as I had tenants moving in the next day. The dump run was reasonable. Michael was really helpful and professional. When the bill came, he said he already emailed it to me and the total was $821.99. When I later reviewed the email, QNQ Movers charged me the full 1 hour rate to move the table - $140. This is not what was agreed to since it was their error for not having 2 people come as they had promised. The only reason they couldn't move it was it was too heavy! The only reason they are getting a D is because Michael was really helpful and pleasant, and Chris did try to make up for the mistakes. However, it was a nightmare trying to jump through loops to reschedule and luckily my situation allowed me to. If you are moving out, and don't have flexibility in scheduling, I would not recommend using this mover. It seems like Chris is trying his best, but his employees are probably on-call and not reliable.

All went well, arrived on time, their work was speedy and efficient.

A three-man crew unloaded a really packed container. It's a first floor apartment, with about 6 or 7 steps. The container opening was about 4 feet off the ground, with no ramp or lift gate. The guys were great. They were very careful with my belongings, and were careful to document anything that had been damaged in the trip over, taking pictures of things in place on the container. I had a big, heavy loveseat that didn't fit up the stairs, and they managed to hoist it over the railing in front and maneuver it through the narrow door. They were professional, efficient, friendly, and very courteous. I found them on Yelp, and that qualified me for a $20/hour discount. I'm going to use them for any moving-related tasks I have in the future. There was no upcharge for the stairs nor for travel time. Great job!
