"Thank you [Member Name Removed] for you review. We really appreciate you as an customer. Just a quick note for other Angie's List customers. If you let us know you found us on Angie's List, we will pay the credit card processing fee for you. We are charged 3.85% by our processor to charge cards, but we try to take care of Angie's List customers. It would be best to tell us this before we schedule the appointment so we can make a note of it on the work order. Again, thanks for your business [Member Name Removed], and if we can do anything further for you please let us know. We do have repeat customer discounts. Aloha"
"[Member Name Removed], I'm sorry you weren't satisfied. I have to say the tub and walls turned out excellent. I can promise you that if you called anyone else it would not look that good. There's no overspray on the tub. What you describe is household dust that settled on the tub ledge on the final coat. It's minor and difficult to see. The vanity, we discussed. I explained that acrylic has natural imperfections such as pinholes. We tried our best, and had to load it up in that area to fill a cluster of visible pinholes. I offered to try to fix it, explaining that I can likely get that imperfection out but the side effect would be a reduction of gloss. We would have to sand it out, then polish it out. You said not to bother. I have to say that in person the imperfection is much less visible than in the picture you posted. If you posted a pic showing the entire vanity nobody would be able to see it. Keep in mind I offered to come back and fix to the best of my ability every issue you mentioned. I didn't notice this in your review. Instead we came back and filled deep grout lines, something that was beyond our control and not our fault as you represented the grout as being in good condition and not in need of regrouting. But we came back anyway and did everything possible to make you happy. Folks, we are dealing and working with imperfect, old materials in a non perfect environment. Basically we are Turning your bathroom into a spray booth. There is dust that can settle on the coating. Existing imperfections such as missing grout and pinholes that even you did not know existed will become more apparent. This process isn't for everyone. If you want new buy new. If you plan on carefully examining everything with a flashlight, this is not the process for you. Again we are dealing with imperfect old materials in a technically flawed spray environment. Reglazing/Refinishing should never be considered a replacement for ripping everything out and installing new stuff. The pricepoints reflect this. Refinishing costs 10-15% the price of new. Therefore it is not reasonable to pay 1/10th the cost of replacement but have the same expectations. However if you want a solid alternative to replacement, don't have the same expectations, and want to save a ton of money this might be a good process for you. There's a reason we are the #1 rated refinishing company in Hawaii as represented on Angie's List. We use the same process on 4 and 5 star hotels on Oahu including every Marriott, every Hyatt, and the Four Seasons. I wish we could please everyone. We try to accurately represent the process to customers and let them decide if it's right for them. We always encourage them to get multiple quotes including on replacement. If a customer is not happy we try to do everything possible to make them happy, even if they are unreasonable. If anyone has any questions regarding this review or my reply please contact us."
"Thanks so much [Member Name Removed]. It was a real pleasure working with you. If we can do anything for you in the future, please let us know. Mahalo"
