I have been using him for years.

His price was great. He did not follow up on a few items. For example, he was supposed to come back and do a few more things on the lawn and they never came back. If you need specific things done, you need to make out a contract to make sure they do everything. I would go back to them because they are very affordable. I would make sure they had a time table though and worked from that time table. They are very responsive. The owner of the company does the work. They are professional and personable.

Had an issue with my sprinklers, responded IMMEDIATELY and had it fixed within 30 minutes! He then offered lawn services. After scheduling, they didn't show up. I called and their customer service was extremely friendly and apologetic. She ensured we weren't charged for that month and said she would send someone out. When the person came out, the lawn looked terrible. They were extremely sloppy and even cut into an electrical chord for our display lights. If you need service from this company, you can ONLY trust the owner. (Mike) --If they send out someone else... it's not worth it. After canceling, not even a call as to why I was canceling - or any attempt to make up. Sorry - I do not recommend this service.

Owner and work crew supervisor was courteous and punctual, returning all cell calls in a timely manner, and taking time to explain the services. Poviding services under the umbrella of a written contract, the price ($6,825) for services was approximately half of what other companies were estimating. A few caveats for homeowners desiring to work with this company: 1. Request a written schedule of all work, especially followup work. After the lawn was installed, I was not sure if and when the provider was returning to followup--with weeding, etc. 2. Provider said that they would return to compact the yard, when the grass had taken. They did not do this. The soft soil caused the ladder of painters to topple over. Although very lush, the grass is still very dificult to walk on. 3. Request written instructions re caring (watering, weed spraying, mowing) for the lawn. Several other companies do provide this information, which I found helpful. For the cost, the services provided by Mike's Lawn and Garden were overall good. Because this is a relatively new company, I believe that they will continue to imrprove their customer services,
