We've been using them for years. He has been great. He's very honest. He does good job. He's very nice, very professional and very reasonably priced.

He's good and I like the service. He did it very quick and I was satisfied with his work. I like him because he scheduled an appointment right away the next day. I went in on Friday and he did it on Saturday and I think he was fair on price. He was very professional.

Had been having issues with my car aircon getting slowly warmer. Didn't take care of it until too late, I guess. Called Mike and dropped it off an hour later while i took care of another appointment. On return Mike had diagnosed the problem - defunct compressor - and provided a quote for a new unit and installation. Mike was confident he could fit the job in around his other work and get it done that day. This is exactly what he achieved and the job was done on time and about $50 under his original quote. Very good service only let done by some white grease residue on the roof of my car... | |Mike's is an old school workshop. Sure there are all sorts of parts lying around and the office has plenty of character. I was very happy with the job and the price and I can now see out of the windscreen on these rainy mornings. One year warranty on the work conducted. Highly recommended.

Evaporator(?) drain tube was plugged and we could hear the fan blades splashing the trapped water around and dripping it on the passenger floor mats. The technician located the drain tube, blew it out with his mouth, and it has been fine ever since. He smiled and said "no charge and sent us on our way. I left with a smile on my face as well. You can bet I will be back in the future if I need to have any air conditioning repairs done in the future.

Mike personally and immediately gave me an estimate as soon as I got there. His responsiveness to detail and concern was very comforting. Yet, quite pricey, which of course was justified by the amount he charges for labor per hour, plus the cost of the evaporator, which needed replacing. But I was very impressed when he found the fan clutch needed replacement and didn't charge labor for that, even though it was after reassembling the engine and going back into it to fix the problem. I recommended my daughter to him the next day to fix a leak in her AC system, which she was very happy with his service as well. His work is guaranteed where we can take our car's back to him at any time, which is a relief in itself to know you have a mechanic you can trust. A special acknowledgement goes to his assistant too. Very informative and willing to explain why the system failed and what they did to fix it. I learned a lot about AC that day. Mahalo

My 1992 Toyota truck was without A/C for over 5 years and I did most of the work to get relays and pulleys working, but the A/C was still not working. I was quoted over $500 estimate to get it running. Mike started at $125 to check and service the most obvious problems. As an engineer, I like the honest approach to solving the problem. It turned out that it was the solution and the cost was accurate. Many places would try to get the most from the customer because of lack of knowledge, but Mike explained what he wanted to do in order to keep the cost low. If we had to go further with higher cost, I think he would explain all the options with the customer before proceeding.

I had Mike do the repair right before I moved away from Hawaii, and the compressor he installed in my vehicle failed almost as soon as I arrived on the mainland--very disappointing and a huge waste of money.

A/C was leaking under the glove box. Dealer said it was a recall. They put the part on and it still leaked. The dealer told me I would need a new system nd wanted to charge me well over $1000. Mike repaired it for $198 and it has worked great since. Before paying a dealer an outrages amount for a new system, I would definitely check with Mike. He is honest and dependable.

Mike seemed to be a great guy and straightforward. He put some time into diagnosing the problem. He said it was a pretty serious problem and he didn't know if the car was worth it. Overall, I would have used him again had I needed services.

I found Mike on Angie's list and went to him for an A/C charge. This was late last year. He was honest with me in telling me what to expect with regards to my AC system, and told me how much I could expect to spend for a full repair. When I had the money to get it fixed, Mike did all that he could to get the cost down, and saved me almost $100, as well as offering me an extended warranty for my repeat business. Upon final inspection he found the switch in the back was not operating as it should and offered to fix it at no cost. He ordered the part and I am returning to have it installed when it comes in. I support local businesses, and will take my vehicles to Mike whenever I need to. Even if I am coming in from Kapolei! Thanks Mike!

His prices were reasonable and he was a friendly guy to work with.

In addition, the final cost was less than the estimate; and Mike was both personable and knowledgeable.

Had an early appointment--Mike was timely; estimated an hour to perform inspection--and was timely. work was promised in the afternoon, and done four hours after we had agreed to service. Work is guaranteed for a year. A/C works fine now.

We called Mike and he was able to fit us in that day. He said he would call with the diagnosis after he checked it over. He did and gave us the price on the phone. He did a great job and we are very pleased with his professionalism. We also could not open the passenger window and he fixed that without charge. He is very honest and so fast. It is a pleasure to find an honest car mechanic. He also repairs other things on cars beside air--conditioners. We are grateful to meet a trustworthy car mechanic and would recommend him to all of our friends and neighbors.

the company was quick with the estimate and he did not have any extra charges when I had the work done. I was told the job would take one day and that is how long it took.Mike was very personable and there was no pressure with the experience. My air conditioning in the car has been working fine since I had the work done.

We called Mike's and described what we thought the problem was and he gave us a rough estimate over the phone (Which was GREATLY appreciated, since we had to tow the car to wherever we were going to take it). We were seen the same day and the repairs were completed by the end of the day, but we were unable to pick up the car until the following morning. When we arrived to pick up the car, the payment total was the same as what had been told to us when the repairs were completed, which was roughly what had been quoted to us initially when we had first called. The bulk of the charge was labor, which was $98 an hour.
