They were late and full of excuses

Movers gauged the wall moving our Amish entertainment furniture. It took them 2 months to come and patch the holes in the wall. To this day, they have never returned to finish the job despite several emails and calls even though they promised they would.

Our non-profit organization has been in existence since 1998. Now, that is a lot of years of accumulation of office furniture, filing cabinets, chairs, bookcases etc. 9 office spaces were moved by 6 guys, a driver and Johnny himself. They provided boxes for us to use to pack up personal stuffs as well as a lot of files. They wrapped everything to avoid any damage. The guys were extremely professional, hard working and dedicated to making the move as easy as possible for me. They placed items in appropriate offices, assembled desks back together, even moved existing pieces to other offices, and put all my banker boxes away in our new storage room. I am truly thankful for the guys moving a fire proof filing cabinet that weighed a ton into our new office. They did an awesome job! I am truly blessed because I was charged a flat rate and not by the hour at the end of the day. They guys were thankful that we fed them lunch and it was only pizza. If you give ALOHA, the ALOHA comes right back! Mahalo Nui Johnny! May your family, staff and business be blessed and prosper in years to come!

There were no issues till the end. They moved the furniture to the new address then they loaded the
Items to haul away and it was time to pay. This is when the problems started, the men could not figure out a price which 2 men 6 hours
At 110 per hour equals 660 then after men apologized for taking so long the said it would be plus $600 dumping fee. So it ended up being around 1400.00 . The lady quoted us over the phone from 400 to 800. There was no mention about this extra fee. I paid them their money and later called the lady from Johnny the mover back and very unpleasantly she said she told me, and also told my girlfriend. I told her if she would have told me I would have not used her. Basically she accused me of not being honest.

I stated that I picked them on Angie's list and would report my experience. She said do what you gotta do, I hung up the phone.
Later my girlfriend called and said she is now giving us back 300 and would send a check. I received the check deposited it and got a insufficient funds notice that it bounced.

Once again we called her and she stated she would bring by my workplace on Thursday. I will make this letter a draft and report the outcome before posting.

Whether I get the partial refund doesn't matter as much as the time involved addressing this situation.

We called on 12/20 (Friday) and arranged for them to move our furniture on 12/27. We were quoted that a two man team would be needed for the move but three actually showed up (2 + driver). We were only charged for the two. They showed up a few minutes early, shrink wrapped everything for an additional fee, and loaded everything. The items transported ranged from small stools, two televisions, recliners, all the way up to our washer and dryer. Everything was handled very well and our items were protected. The entire process went surprisingly fast and the guys handling the move were friendly and professional.

. Their price for moving and packing is fine. I will probably use their moving service again but not sure about the packing service.

We moved just eight houses away and were severely underquoted on the price. The agreement was for two workers to spend three hours moving the large items only, which I prepped in advance. When they showed up, there was a third worker with them and they justified it by saying that without him, the move would take longer and cost more. I was not happy about it, but gave the go ahead. With that said, it really did take all three of them and the job took four hours instead of three. I was very happy with their work ethic and professionalism of the crew. I would use them again, but recommend nailing them down on a firm price.

I was referred to them by a client of mine. They moved mostly big items for us. We did the little stuff. We had been moving over a period of time. They didn't move as much as they possible could, but we didn't have them start in the beginning. They charged by the hour with three guys. The pricing was certainly reasonable. Many of the other companies had a really high surcharge.

I was very happy with them. On professionalism, I would rate them a bit low because I live in a condo, it was early in the morning, and they were a little bit noisy. I had to tell them to tone it down since people were sleeping. As soon I talked to them about it, they calmed down. I would use them again in the future.
