Peter was very professional. He explained what the problem was and what he would do to fix it. He also performed other checks of my heater and replaced the anode.

Prompt and very knowledgeable. I knew little about solar water heaters before, but everyone explained the system to me and what the problems were. Everyone I interacted with was very professional, which made me much more comfortable with my choice.

Not sure if at all normal, but when talking to owner he coincidentally had a crew working nearby . Within an hour they were here to give me an estimate. Head tech had my wife as a teacher in 3rd grade! They left for lunch and to get supplies, were back by 12:30 and done by 2 pm. Excellent work getting the fixes and maintenance done and set me up for future maintenance (every 4 years). Also explained in detail what was done and what I need to do going forward. Price very reasonable (at low end of range initially given).

Speedy service; great value; excellent repair. My old solar water system is now working top-notch. Couldn't ask for better service. Would highly recommend.

Very personable on the phone with quick call backs. Kawika was superb with all the work that needed to be done. I was pleased to find out the company has a maintenance service plan for solar water heater systems.

The technician was great. Fast and efficient. Explained what he did and what he found.

Although a bit pricier than the other installers, Kawika took the extra time to teach us on how to use and maintain our new water heater. Also all the important parts were replaced and with our proper maintenance, our solar water system is optimized and will last longer. Thanks to HES...Celine

My system that needed repair needed to be replaced so we hired them. They were quick to respond and was fairly reasonable. James was very prompt and took the time to explained the new system he also referred me to someone for another problem that needed to be addressed .

I was loosing hot water over night. They came to our house and found the problem.

James is an AWESOME professional and very thorough, he took the time to explain what the problem was and what going on with our system even on a Sunday! We had our hot water back and running within 24 hours from calling Hawaiian Energy Systems! We are very satisfied and would definitely recommend to our family and friends.

James at Hawaiian energy noticed that my family had no Warm water due our solar water heater needs replacement. James with his kindness and customer service installed an electric heater to carry my family over in til our financing with my bank goes through. With that said I believe kindness with this type is service is hard to find with so many mainland solar companies in the island. Much Aloha to Hawaiian Energy Systems.

It would be better if the repairman told me how much it would cost me before he started working on it.
