Darrell was very knowledgeable about replacing a electric water heater. His price is very reasonable and he exhibited excellent customer service. He was prompt on his appointment and he installed the electric water heater in less than 3 hours.

Besides doing the maintenance on our system they also reset the timer and explained how the system works.

Called due to a leaking air valve on my solar water system. Darryl arranged for same day service. Makana was fast, courteous and knowledgeable. Repair and service of my system was accomplished in just over an hour. Thanks Makana!

AFTER THEIR SERVICE I HAD TO HIRE ANOTHER REPAIR SERVICE BECAUSE THE RECYCLE PUMP WOULD NOT GO ON. ALSO THE TEMP GAUAGE WOULD STAY ON 90 DEGREES AND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY WOULD READ THE SAME. THEY CAME OUT AND TESTED IT ON . AS THE PUMP CAME THE TEMP WOULD RISE. SO I HAIRED ANOTHER COMPANY AND GUESS WHAT THE SENSOR WERE NOT CONNECTED. THIS COST ME ANOTHER $180.00. YOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD CHECK THEIR WORK. THIS PROBLEM WOULD HAVE BROWN MY PANNEL AND THAN WHAT. SO BEWARE.

They provided quality work for what we needed. Worker was friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible to adjustments along the way. I would hire them again.

This company may be good but my experience was with them was not. They were very prompt in responding which is why they got the job. They also came earlier than they said they would which is a first in my experience. They worked diligently to attempt to solve the problem with my system. BUT they failed to solve it. WORST of all they refused to investigate my suggestion as to where the problem might originate which I gave to them over and over again during the frustrating 3-4 hours they spent examining my equipment. So I paid them for essentially nothing but a diagnosis and a suggestion that I get someone else. Very disappointing. Later, I was able to get in touch with the original company that installed my photovoltaic system. Unlike HES, they took my suggestion as to the probable cause of the problem and found the problem within 5 minutes. It was still difficult and costly to fix, but they fixed it.

After having a very bad experience with the company that installed my solar water system, I decided to give this a try. That was the best move I ever made. These guys were quick, friendly, and always kept me informed as to what was happening. They came the next morning and was done in less than two hours. Now my hot water is flowing well.

Service tech was great! Quick, friendly, and knew his stuff. Highly recommend. They pre-processsed rebate so zero fuss.

Darrell was very helpful on the phone and they sent Kawika out the next day (not even 24 hours later)! Kawika was very informative on the whole process, the suggestions of service, and what he was going to do during the service. Even though we are going to have to replace our Solar Water Heather, I am not worried about the service that we will receive with Hawaiian Energy Systems! I know that it will be top notch service.

Great work by the technician that performed the work. I had to beg them to come do the work. Original schedule was for TUE; owner called apologized couldn't make it due to scheduling issues. Rescheduled for FRI 0830 but I called at 1100 because of no show. Tech eventually cam at 3PM and he did do a great quick and thorough job. I was happy with the work but not the scheduling; oh well "Aloha Time".
