On the day of the cleaning she texted me to advise she was running late due to the late arrival of her previous client, which was no problem for me. I arrived to find she was by herself. When I asked, she said the other person wasn't feeling well and it's hard to get people to work on a Sunday. She was going to tackle a 3 bdrm, 2 bath 1000 sq ft. apt by herself.
She had made very clear that she expected the apt to be completely empty. It was the first time we had accessed the apt since the tenant moved out and we found they left things in drawers and cabinets. She immediately began to mumble under her breath about it not being her job to clear things out. I told her not to touch anything that I would clear everything out which I did.
She then began to mumble loud enough for me to hear that the apt was filthy. I found it very odd that a person who does this for a living would be making these comments, and given she viewed the apt before she accepted the job nothing should have been a surprise. This mumbling and muttering under her breath continued the whole time I was there.
While I was waiting on my husband who was taking the tenants leftover items out of the apt, I swept the lanai. The ceramic tile lanai needed to be mopped as well but I thought I would pitch in. I shouldn't have done this because it was apparently a signal to her that she didn't need to touch the lanai. Keep in mind she walked through the apt and specifically stated she would clean everything including the lanai, the sliding door tracks etc.
I should also mention she locked herself out of the apt and needed to wait for me to return to let her back in. She was sweeping the front entry area and had used a roll of paper towels to prop open the door. That failed and the door shut. She had to disturb our neighbor to call the resident manager who called me as she didn't have her phone on her. Totally unnecessary had she had the presence of mind and experience to unlock the front door to ensure this wouldn't happen.
During the onsite estimate she highlighted that her company would provide an official receipt, especially important for tenant /landlord jobs and presented this in her litany of hard sell promises. She provided a generic written receipt at the end of the job and texted me after she left to inform me she provided the only receipt I would get and that ‘we were done’.
I received two estimates for our job, both did an onsite review The other company (also on Angie’s List) quoted a price $150 higher. When I advised them of Doo-rite’s estimate she said Doo-rite could have the job. My job was a lot of work just based on the size of the apt. The higher estimate was probably a truer estimate. My assumption is Doo-rite’s quotes come in low
to get jobs, but you get what you pay for. As it turns out, I ended up bringing the apt up to par.
One last thing, she took a break which was completely understandable as the job took a long time. She smoked on our lanai. She didn’t bother to ask if it was ok. Not only was this unprofessional, it was against Hawaii State smoking laws.
Apologies for a lengthy review but I relied on the reviews I found on Angie's list when I made my decision on who to hire. Perhaps my experience was this provider on a bad day, but my job should not have suffered because of it.

Georgeanne is nice and honest with her pricing and what she will do. Unfortunately she did take a bit longer than she said she would which put a damper on our day as we needed to go do things to finish the move. We honestly did not have that dirty of a place, just the bathroom needed the deep clean--everything else was just surface cleaning, polishing and dusting. She rushed through the rest of the cleaning, and when the landlord came to inspect she was not happy. Long story short, my husband went in and cleaned the areas to pass inspection.
Georgeanne can remove some really hard things like rings in toilets and makes your kitchen sink shine. She does have a policy that she will come back once if the landlord isn't happy but we had a bad landlord and so that didn't work. I just wish it would have been clean enough to pass the first time.

The owner of the company was bossy and very unprofessional. Her and her crew worked hard, even sweating all over everything, but did not produce acceptable results. I has to continue to ask them to touch up the work they just completed repeatedly. It got to the point I just had to stop pointing out the poor quality of their work. The owner seemed frustrated the entire time, played video games on her phone and talked about the abuse she suffered from her ex-boyfriend or spouse. Overall a poor experience and I would not recommend this company. At this point, I am losing confidence in Angie's List.

The true story is too difficult to tell! I decided to use Angie's List as I had no other method to find someone suitable and thought that Angie's List was more reliable. Initially, I found the owner to be bossy but sometimes that can be a good quality-if they know what they are doing! In this case the owner and her help did not know what they were doing. I had to point out several parts of the job that were not done properly or completely and after a while I just gave up. They attempted to redo some of the work but there was so much left undone I felt uncomfortable to continue to point it out. I almost decided not to pay this company but was just happy they were leaving. I had to hire another cleaning crew to redo the parts that were not done properly. I suggest trying Aloha Maid Cleaning as they have good reviews on Yelp. In addition, to not doing a good job, one cleaning lady talked to herself the whole time! It was very scary. While this was going on the owner talked about her abusive ex-husband or boyfriend. It made me feel very uncomfortable as I did not know how to respond to these types of comments. I strongly disagree with any comment that states this company can do a decent job. I am sure they are nice people but it was not a professional experience and it was very expensive for the quantity and quality of work performed.

I was very pleased with the work Georgianne did at my rental unit. She arrived promptly to inspect the place and give a price. She said when she is finished the cost would not be more nor less than the quote. She told me the job would be a move out clean. I let her know that i wanted it so clean I would want to move in myself. Her work was very thorough. I was completely satisfied with the work; Georgianne also let me know that if I found something not done to my satisfaction, i should call her and she will make the job right. I will save her contact for my next job.

She is very professional, quick, and warm-hearted. She is so family-like. My mother has lung cancer, and she took that fact and what my mother comes close with after cleaning, and she fixed all that; she took that into consideration when she comes in to clean the house. She is also very detailed. She would go behind her workers and check after they finished a section. I will continue to use her, and I had actually made arrangements with her. I had taken her to my bigger house, and she quoted me for that as well.

Hiring a housekeeper is a sensitive subject and I was uncertain about using a service that I had not been referred to by a personal friend. I used Angie's List and a few other services to find recommendations and was impressed by Doo-Rite's reputation online. I'm glad I gave them a chance. I'm very pleased and comfortable with having them in my home on a regular basis.
Georgianne is extremely friendly and very professional. She came first for an inspection and quoted us a reasonable price for the initial cleaning and a very affordable quote for regular maintenance after that. We have a dog, but that wasn't a problem - in fact our dog loved Georgianne and Hester and they were very sweet to him too.
The initial cleaning took about 4:30 hours, and seemed to go well. While I consider our home to be and quot;tidyand quot; - it needed a deep cleaning. I feel like Doo-Rite was able to do that in a reasonable amount of time. In some instances, they were frustrated when they couldn't remove things like a rust stain on the counter or a stain on the tub wall - but worked very hard to make sure that most of the rings, water spots, stains and discolorations were removed from the bathroom and kitchen surfaces. I was so pleased with the initial cleaning that I have scheduled regular service with the team.
Since that initial cleaning I've seen more improvement in the state of my home and feel as though I'm really getting my money's worth for the level of service provided.

They did it for my other house in Hawaii, and I wasn't there, so I wouldn't know really what they were like.

The first cleaning was very thorough. The second one, not so much. Maybe because I was home for the first one and not for the second or maybe because first impressions are important. My second impression wasn't a good one as I found several unclean areas. If you are going to move and need someone to clean your house, Doo-Rite is great. If you want someone to come in on a frequent basis, find someone else.

Contacted Doo Rite Cleaning and within 12 hours had an estimate, scheduled date for cleaning and a guarantee the house would pass any move out inspection. A team of two arrived to include the owner of Doo Rite and they proceeded to clean the entire house and were done in 6 hours. An amazing job, I have already recommended Doo Rite to a couple of friends.

From the first call..... to the "Truthful" estimate(which I appreciate).....to the finished result....the service was worth it.

I just moved into a new condo that I'm renting and there wasn't an move-out cleaning done by the previous occupants. I called Doo-Rite and explained my situation and they agreed to help me out that same afternoon! They arrived a little bit early for the appt, were super thorough, and very very friendly. I highly recommend Doo-Rite and have scheduled my condo for cleanings with them every other week because I was so happy with the service I received.

Georgian got to the apartment at 10am went room by room as I scrambled to finish packing and moving everything. She's very friendly and we chatted while we worked. She worked her tail off to get this place looking great. Didn't get finished with my three bed two bath place until almost 7pm. When she wanted lunch she ordered us all pizza.
