I go to this car wash service about once every 6 weeks. If I go on the early side (before 10 AM on weekdays), my car is done in about 20-30 minutes. There's a nice waiting room where you can read the newspaper and have some green tea.
Someone comes over to your car as soon as you pull into the lot. You tell them what you want. I always say and quot;everythingand quot; because I find the wax protects the car's finish and makes it easy to wipe off bird droppings and other spots between washes.
The guys do a thorough job - cleaning and finishing the tires, dusting off the dashboard.
Not the cheapest but a very reliable, efficiently run place with courteous workers.

The lead mechanic working on my car informed me that my brake pads were worn almost to just a sliver of padding left, and could have completely cracked if used beyond that point. As he worked more on the car to remove the brake pads, he discovered that the rotors were worn out and were in dire need of replacing as well. A courtesy call was made to me while I was at work to determine the next course of action. Obviously, I opted to have both parts replaced in the process and save for extra paid labor hours. However, the work required needed additional time to complete, which he did as a courtesy even though he could have gone home for the day when his shift ended at 4pm.
When I finished my work day, I headed over to Yajima-Cosmo Service Station to pick up my car. The cashier had my car keys along with a modest bill for the services done (save for a few free moments the mechanic needed to finish the job). The emergency brake handle didn't fully rise to a 70 degree angle anymore, and the brakes were more responsive and a lot quieter. The staff are always pleasant and service is efficient every time.

Best Car wash in Honolulu. Almost like a mini detailing every time. Nice area inside to sit, read, free tea.
This place also does auto service repair, inspections, auto body repair also.

It went fine. I go here about once a month. The line can get long during peak hours, but if you avoid the lines, then the total time is only about 30 minutes. They have a car wash machine from Japan, but first they vacuum the inside of the car. After it goes through their washer, they get a group of guys to hand dry your car and wash the window, trim, tires, and dash board. They usually do a good job. They cost anywhere from $14 to $30-ish depending on the size of your car and the services you want done. If you get 10 car washes, then they give you one free. Overall, it's a pretty good deal considering there aren't many car wash options in town.
