Small 230 SF total incl 70 SF added floor area should've taken 3 months to complete. Into 9th month and still incomplete. Seems we're a filler project since they're too busy. No foreman to oversee and coordinate work. Work is intermittent with frequent scheduling gaps between trades. Poor productivity. Inefficient and errors. Not proactive or communicative. Material order error, most prominent being the glass shower partition. Took 3 months to arrive and was wrong mounting and glass type. Quartz countertops installed with wrong color and manufacturer. Don't know if this was attempt to make unauthorized substitution. Also rejected replacements due to poor fabrication. I have to do the QC. Orders for long lead items made late adding to delays. They are not the low bidder. Relatively expensive at $630/SF, but quality is not high-end, a B-grade at best. Millwork is from Vietnam. Tile, countertops, lights, plumbing fixtures, accessories, and lights are on allowance list. Anything costing above their base allowance amount is extra. Base is low-end big box hardware store quality. Ended up with $9,000 in extras. On top of that, they damaged my landscaping, which is specifically excluded in the contract. Very poor in comparison with renovation I did 4 years ago which was larger and more complex.

We interviewed so many contractors that all ended how you would expect; they were late, didn't reply with quotes, not paying attention to our needs. etc...  Then came Atlas, a breathe of fresh air.  From the first time we met with Josh we felt like a part of the Atlas family.  And everyone we met from Atlas along the 18 month journey treated us the same, like a member of their family.
It was by no means a small project.  Big slope, tall retaining walls, lots of special requirements from us... we sure didn't make it easy on Atlas but they never flinched and we ended up with a beautiful house.  Every time I come home I think how lucky I am.
We were so unbelievably impressed with how the whole Atlas team handled the project.  If we ever did have to move I wouldn't even talk to anyone but Atlas.

They have gone out of their way to help us with all of our questions. They are very nice guys and you can really trust them unlike most other contractors.
