Excellent service! I read the first review of Artisan Piano Service, and learned that Steven had recently tuned Elton John's piano, for the Honolulu gig, and was eager to meet Steven. My main worry was that he would not be interested in traveling over the Pali to Kaneohe. Steven called us the same day I left a message, and was able to fit us in the next day. I will definitely call Artisan Piano next year!

I contacted Steven by email and he responded quickly. He was able to schedule me on a Saturday, which I always appreciate. He had to reschedule a couple times because he was getting changing requests to tune Elton John's piano before his concert that night! If I had a busier day I would've just rescheduled for a different day, but it was fine to just have him come whenever he was done with Elton John's piano. I mean, I understand that piano needs to be tuned more urgently than mine :)
He arrived on time and was able to diagnose the problem (broken string) repair it and bring the whole piano back to tune. I hadn't had it tuned in about 8 years (my bad) so while it was tune overall it was flat overall. The process took about 2 hours. He used some modern tech for the tuning process. I'm not exactly a concert pianist so I can't speak to the quality of the tune ? I'm sure it's solid, especially if he's the go-to piano tuner for Elton John, Ray Charles, etc.
I intend to call him again for more regular piano tuning in the future.
