The absolute worst experience of my life. Total $$ was $10,000 over estimate. Impossible to contact after process began. Delivery was 3 days late. When unpacking I discovered missing items, broken items, and my furniture looked like it had been used to party on. I had just lost my husband so I'd really like to thank this company for single handedly making my life a living Hell!! Bottom line DO NOT HIRE!!

Deceptive. Unaccountable. Unapologetic. Nightmare.

They changed the price(by almost 2x) on us last minute and basically strong-armed us into the new price because we could not reschedule.

They hand your stuff off to a different moving company to get delivered to your final destination. They also have you pay Polaris Moving Company instead of paying under the Road Runner name. Over all was the cheapest and easiest option for moving across the country.

They moved a very heavy granite-top table which other movers did not want to touch. Impressive.

The company asked me to revise my previous review and give them a better star rating and they would refund me $400 back for all my inconveniences so I revised the first review. Here it is over three months after my INCOMPLETE $3100 move and over a month since I revised my review and still not a dollar. At this point Iâ  m tired of playing games with this rip off company and wouldnâ  t refer them to a family of roaches relocating to higher grounds. If you like the idea of people playing games, breaking your TV, charging you for boxes that you purchased from Lowes yourself, reps that have no clue what so ever of customer service, the items you paid for included in the FULL SERVICE DOOR TO DOOR move still packaged 3 months later and continuous Bull Crap with every call, then this is your place! Me on the other hand, I wouldnâ  t contact them again even if the move was free!!!!

Road Runner Moving operated on time, worked hard loading the contents of my San Jose house onto the truck, and unloaded on schedule in Santa Cruz. Service was good and on time. I was given information on the total cost ahead of time and had the payments ready both at the startup and before they unloaded. I was very satisfied with their work and happy that the day went smoothly. The estimator was thorough and accurate. All in all I was very satisfied with their work. Pamela B,. San Jose, CA

Great service!

If I could give this company a zero rating, I would. My furniture was loaded nearly 6 weeks ago (with a maximum delivery of 3 weeks) and the company still cannot tell me where the shipment is nor when I can expect delivery. After numerous calls, I think they have blocked my number, as all calls now go to voice mail with no returned calls. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!

This company did not follow up with re-reimbursing me my 10 percent. The would not answer my calls and they have not paid me after 2 and half months. I just want them to pay me my 810.00 asap.

The company keeps giving me different information about when my belongings will be arriving at my home. Every time I call I am treated poorly by their customer service and I do not recommend working with them at all. I just want my stuff back and I can't get a clear answer as to when that will be.

It went so great! From the initial conversation forward, Ron and the staff were responsive and provided details and service from start to finish. They made my out of state move right on schedule. The guys were very fast but truly diligent as they so carefully pad wrapping and protected quite a few pieces of antique furniture. They were also both professional and extremely nice. I was kept informed as to their timing every step of the way. I was so thankful I chose their moving service and received excellent service! I will definitely ill use Road Runner movers group for Moving Services the next time I need it!

Jack and David came to help with my move. They worked so hard, took special care with my items but wrapping each item and preventing any damage. Juan was new on the job and did a great job. Steve was so amazing with him by helping him learn the ropes, explaining things patiently to him and their partnership really made the move go smoothly. Road Runner also accommodated me last minute when I had to pick up a bed from another location. There was a bit of a mix up in the morning, they came to my place instead of the other address. But they were calm and just re-routed.

My experience with the company had a very negative outcome. The estimate for the work was based upon a conversation; there was no on-site inspection of the amount of personal belongings I needed moved. The representative made me feel comfortable with his skills in making the estimate; that the only reason the estimated amount would change was if my belongings exceeded the estimated cubic feet. Estimated 1500 cf; reality 2200 cf. A substantial difference in price; I had to borrow additional funds from the bank since my belongings were in the truck or sidewalk when actual cf was concluded. Very distressing. My choice of this company was determined by the estimated amount (which included a discount) in comparison to the other three companies. The movers loading were very careful with my belonging, and advised me of the time when they were to arrive. I was contacted about the delivery day, however I noted that my things arrived in a very different truck; thus were re-loaded. Some of my furniture was not completely wrapped and were damaged, and it was obvious that a forklift was used on my boxes. I was advised to photograph the damage and make claim as outline in documents received. There were not enough people to re-assemble my piano, and I was not happy with the customer service skills of the person I spoke with (failure to contact me within a reasonable period of time). The job was completed a week later. I would recommend that an estimate be based upon a visual inspection (this option was not presented). The company that used face-time to observe my belongings came in an estimate that was right-on. I did not use them because Road Runner Moving gave me a better price. Big Mistake on my part; I was not pleased. At least the majority of my belongings arrived okay.

I have used Road Runner Moving 3 times now and each time has been an exceptional experience. The men are always super professional, well mannered, and personable. They take precautions when packing large furniture so that nothing is broken or damaged. This last move was Jack and Anthony with Road Runner and they were truly wonderful. Thank you very much guys!! I would HIGHLY recommend them anytime you need moving services.

These guys were great - notified me when they were on the way & showed up on time. Had my house packed and loaded in one hour. EVERYTHING was wrapped and taped in blankets. Cleaned up and ready to move. Moved us into 4th floor condo - unwrapped and set up the beds. Took another 2 hours. Awesome job. Would use Anthoney & crew again and will recommend. Great guys.

We moved 100 km from a 4 bedroom to 3 bedroom house. Because there was a 4 week time lag between leaving our old home and taking up residence at our new place, RoadRunner stored our furniture in their warehouse for that period. All of the services provided by RoadRunner`s were professional, efficient and tailored to our personal needs. The lady who came to assess our needs was thorough, precise and submitted the quote to us on time as promised. The movers were friendly, cooperative and very well-organized. We were won over by the storage system employed by RoadRunner, which involves the use of modules stored in a weather-proof environment. Thanks to Matt our move was trouble-free!

Excellent Service! I would highly recommend them. We forgot to confirm our Movers via email. The day of the Moving I woke up at 5am with a doubt that the removal was indeed not confirmed. I called the manager who managed to save the day by organizing a last minute team. The guys did a fantastic job, dismantling/reassembling an expensive ottoman bed and taking it up to the second floor through an incredibly tight staircase without a scratch. They wrapped and protected everything, also items which really didn't need any protection. Everything has been moved without a scratch to the furniture and the premises. And the price was not even comparable to other agencies (all those XXX with a van). I have been charged lucrative quotes from other companies, given that we did all the boxes, we had very few furniture (one king bed, a sofa, table and chairs) and the old and new places were 400km away. I could not believe how different the quotes were and I could not understand how to justify such a huge difference. We eventually decided to take the "risk" to go with RoadRunner who quoted us a fraction of the others. I am so pleased we decided to go with them, I cannot imagine what more they could have done! Highly recommended. Just remember to confirm your booking by email.

All in all what a wonderful and stress free move across the continent. The operations team was outstanding on both ends- helpful and pleasant gentlemen who went the extra mile. My things arrived as sent for the most part (other than the reasonable movement marks). Value for money was great too. The only reason this is not 5 stars is because there were complications with my invoicing but nothing major enough to lessen the experience. Would recommend to anybody doing an international move! Great operations team.

I think the salesman did not tell me the whole truth, their customer service people are not nice, I was suppose to have my things delivered on Dec 19th, and it still has not been deliver. They picked it up on Nov 29th on a Sunday,

They did a great job. I was quiet hesitate to book them at the beginning due to a mixture of reviews. But they arrived on time, and were efficient, friendly, and careful about my stuff. â David and Jackâ was the one who did the moving for me, highly recommending them!

I had to find the perfect moving company for my upcoming moving plans, this was a long one and I didn't think I could find a long distance moving company that would be helpful. I came across RoadRunner through Homeadvisor and at first, was a bit skeptical because of the mixed reviews but I went ahead and stuck with them because I had no other moving company that would be able to move all my stuff from California to Maryland. They arrived 30 minutes before my scheduled time and the whole team was so professional and ready to get me out of California I was shocked. They loaded all our stuff and we hit the road within one hour and the cost wasn't even that bad. I've had local moving companies charge me more than Long Distance Movers did for this move. If you're looking to move a long distance, don't even hesitate to call RaodRunner!

I had an awesome experience with this company. The price quoted was the cheapest of the all the companies I researched. The process of booking it was painless and straight forward, it was mostly over email and a phone call. Ron was very quick to answer all my questions. The movers, Juan and Anthoney, were great. They showed up on time, were very efficient and careful with their work. There were delays with the management of my building in getting access to the elevators, but thankfully my movers were so good that we ended the whole process in 14 hours. There were no hidden fees or last minute surprises like with other companies I have used in the past. I would recommend them to anyone.

I used RoadRuner earlier this week to move a apartment worth of furniture to a new place. The movers did a great job despite the job being quite difficult with steep flights of stairs and sharp narrow turns to negotiate bulky, heavy items. They arrived on time, all throughout they were polite, calm, well organized and hardworking. Looked after my staff really well, no damage whatsoever. Fantastic service, would definitely use them again.

RoadRunner did a wonderful job with our move from California to Florida. At each step of the moving process, the team was professional, courteous and hard-working. Steve gave a prompt response to my initial online query and was able to quickly provide a very reasonable quote for the job. This was followed up by a home visit to assess the job in person, where Steve provided another - lower - quote, which I thought was decent of him. Communications were great in the lead up to the move, with prompt responses to my queries and Steve asking all the right questions to make sure the move ran smoothly. Ron`s team of movers were fantastic: they arrived on time, got started promptly, worked quickly and efficiently at either end of the move. All items were handled carefully and secured well in the van. The moving team were friendly and professional throughout. We were extremely impressed with RoadRunner and would happily recommend them.
