DELIBERATE AND CALCULATED SCAMMING BUYER BEWARE!!! [*** Link removed ***] THIS IS A WARNING AND ONE TO FILE!!! I recently discovered a scam. It's disguised as a big company with a beautifully done website that makes it look like they have many experienced repair men. Appliance Repair Oahu is a sham...a wolf in sheep's clothing...a one man show with his wife who are just out to scam and take and trust me...you never want to deal with them. The VIKING repairman that my real estate management company usually uses was on vacation. My freezer was thawing out and they wanted it fixed before all my food was spoiled. They went online and found this company that had a really good and professional profile and called them. The woman who took the call said that a guy named Gary would call them back. He did and said he knew exactly what the problem was and the parts and labor were just under $1400. Seems like a lot but it is a custom VIKING refrigerator he said and a very rare model. They took the bait and the guy was sent to do the repair. He worked for one hour, replaced two tiny parts that must have cost a few hundred at the most and left. The next day the ice make broke and the freezer started thawing out again. He came back, spent a half hour and left. It worked for one day and the entire thing broke again. When the management company attempted to call, no answer. I called, sent emails and texted Gary, and to this day he has not responded to any of us. HE TOOK THE MONEY AND RAN!!! When the REAL VIKING repairman came back he said that was a $1000 overcharge and nothing was done right and the proof is that it was NEVER repaired! This company is a total scam and in talking to others, I realize that this is their way...take the money and run and leave people stranded and desperate. No one deserves to get deliberately scammed...NEVER USE THIS COMPANY...BUYER BEWARE!!!
