The service was great. They did a great job. They were on time. I was not able to go and see the work in person, but they did send me pictures of the work. They worked well for an overseas business transaction.

Two people came to the house on March 2, inspected the problem, and gave me a quote. I thought the price was reasonable and agreed to have them perform the repair work. They came on March 7 and completed repairs. There's a 4 year warranty. So far so good.

We had experienced two areas that had water leak issues during a heavy rain so we alerted them to those spots in particular. The crew was very good and Edgar (the foreman) was excellent to work with and dealt with any issues that came up. We did have to call them back for 2 items...there was a leak in one of the same spots as before from a heavy rain soon after the roofing job was completed. It happened on a Sunday and they immediately came out that day and figured out what the cause was and repaired it. Although we have not had a heavy rain since to test it, we do believe they found where the problem was and resolved it. The other follow-up item was at a skylight on a flat roof area that would leak at times during a heavy rain and they installed a diverter to push the water away from the area and off the roof. We are pleased with the job and the timely response from Aloha Roofing and would definitely recommend using them.

The Aloha Roofing estimator was polite, knowledgable and answered any and all questions. The roofing contractor was fast, efficient and had a very hard working crew. The job was estimated to take 4 days and it was done in 3. The finished roof looks great and there were no leaks or problems during some showers that occurred during the re-roofing as well as after everything was done. The crew did a decent job of cleaning up after themselves.
The price might seem steep but the cost of everything in Hawaii is much higher than most other states in the union. I felt that when comparing estimates with other roofers that Aloha's estimate was the most realistic and on the mark.

We had them remove our 20 year old roof and provide a new reflective roofing system. They also replace some decking and beams that had termite damage. The only issue was about the skylight cover, which was damaged during an earthquack, that we couldn't find a replacement. They found the right size and made it work. We had to watch to insure we got the right stuff, but they had mo problem finding it when we pushed..

Crew arrived on time, worker started the stripping of the old roofing materials. Dumpster arrived and the crew completed the tear off within a couple of hours. The materials arrived on a boom truck that delivered the material to m y roof top. The new decking was installed and they started to apply the new roofing. 40% completed with in the 1st day and balance complete the next day. Workers picked up any rubbish the was in my property.

John was our contact, and he was always prompt and courteous with replies for information. We had about 5 estimates for the roof work and 3 of them were all about the same price at the low end, if you compared similar shingle qualities offered (length of warranty). Aloha was one of those. They responded quickly with the estimate and provided all the information. John contacted us regularly to update on start date as the weather caused some delays. They worked fast - whole job was done in 2 days, and cleaned up really well. Nice job and the roof looks great. I would recommend them.

Overall it went very well. Even though the workers scoured the area around the house picking up trash there were a few roofing nails that escaped their eagle eyes so would recommend the owner canvas the area around their property for a few days to prevent potential flat tires or foot injuries from the very few missed nails. So far we are very happy with the job and have noticed zero leaks; of course the roof is only a couple months old. I have confidence that if we do have a problem (unlikely) that John and his crew will stand behind their warranty and fix it quickly.
The workers were very professional; one even commented he could see we had cracked caulking in the gutters and fixed some of them. I appreciate the extra effort, even though the gutters still leak in places, but know the gutters really need a full resealing or replacement. Gutters were not part of the job I requested so any additional care the workers took was just bonus for us. Maybe it will motivate me to finish them :-)

March 28, 2011 was a wind storm and the brie roofing on my office was torn off. I put up plastic tarps to keep the wet out and called three roofers the next morning. John was the first to show up and we agreed to a price. The other two came later in the day and were more expensive. I had sealed the roof but John offered to have his team there in one hour to tarp the roof. I declined. The next morning John and his team were on my office room and finished in about three hours. They cleaned up the mess and were gone by noon.

Aloha Roofing responded immediately for a request of an estimate and provided me with an estimate within a day. After finding tiles that matched the color of my roof,which took about one or two days, they immediately repaired the roof and completed the work in about two days. Based on the amount of tiles that had to be replaced and the work involved I thought that the price was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to use Aloha Roofing again for my roofing needs.

We did our homework choosing a roofing company, and we are so glad that we found Aloha Roofing. They are very reasonable with their pricing, and was one of the best bids. They were very helpful from the beginning to the end, and was always there to answer any of our questions. The owner of the company actually came out on the job, and always made us feel confident that the job was being done right. We have a pretty big roof including the two flat roofs. Not only did they finish it in the time they told us, it was done with pride and professionalism. They always cleaned up for the day after they were done, and did everything we asked and more. We would have no problem using them again, and recommending them to our friends and family.

Contractor was easy to work with, friendly and professional. They improved on my design to install the raised roof slope. They prevented me from having to pay a solar contractor to come out and remove the solar panels. The detailing was well-executed. They even painted the siding they had to modify to install the flashing. The work took just 2-3 days for about 1000 SF of roof area. All debris was removed promptly. It's been a year and no leaks. We are very pleased with the work.

This was a very good experience. It looked really good.
