ABC Shade and Awning Inc. was easily approved by my Condo Board due to their historically quality work. Matt came to my apartment to obtain exact measurements of the lanai. He was very detailed and took about 2 hours to complete. After the measurements were completed, Matt gave me a firm quote with tax included, an agreement detailing what work and materials would be included and an installation date was set. The installation required 1 full day (10 hours) to complete. Matt arrived promptly at 8:30am, assembled all his materials and tools out on the lanai and closed the lanai door. I remained in the apartment most of the time but did leave for a couple of hours for errands and left Matt alone in the apartment. Upon returning, I noticed he had made considerable progress which suggested he had not stopped for a break during my absence. For the entire day, Matt remained out on the lanai and worked continuously with hardly a pause. He took great care with his measurements and precision. Work was completed on schedule at around 5pm. After removing his tools from the lanai, he proceeded to sweep up all residual particles from the lanai to leave it spotless. After instructing me in the use of the awning, he accepted a credit card payment and left at about 5:30pm. Matt is a very rare contractor who takes great pride in his craftmanship and professionalism from first meeting to clean up. If you need an awning or shade for your home, you will not need to call any other contractor. His price is great and his work is even better.
