Laione responded to my initial inquiry almost immediately and arranged for a site visit. He provided me with a very reasonable estimate and even offered a senior discount. The work was accomplished by his crew in a timely and professional manner and they were very accommodating to make sure that the work was acceptable to me. He and the crew were very customer oriented and seemed focused on meeting all of my expectations and needs. Would recommend them to anyone who needs work done without fear of getting taken advantage of.

Sekona went above and beyond our expectations with this repair job. Originally we were planning to repair existing deck, but he worked with us to come up with a much better solution. He also was able to repair other issues as they came up. High quality work on everything they did. Completed the project on time and within budget. I would definitely reccomend.

Laione and his team conducted its first project at our AOAO; replacing/repairing stringer, threads, post, and other elements of one of our stairways to the second floor unit. The Sekona team took on a very difficult project to restore a 45 foot wooden staircase leading up a very steep hill to our home. The staircase was made entirely of wood and was in a state of significant disrepair because of all the rainfall we get in Kaneohe. Sekona's price estimate was far more reasonable than any other quote we received and the quality of work was absolutely outstanding! They even went above and beyond the original job (in terms of scope and labor) without any additional charge, ensuring the entire staircase was perfect. They completed this project without any supervision while we were away from Hawaii for an extended period. What a great surprise to return home and see such a professional piece of work. Laione, Richard and Sean did several projects for us. They started with wood rot under our 8yo Trex deck, which we thought would last forever. Laione and crew replaced underlying rotten wood and placed protective tape over the top. They then put the Trex we had back. They also made changes to the design that we asked for. Some of the new design was tricky to do over the original framing, but it turned out great! He was very upfront and honest about what was needed and possibly needed every step of the way as more rot was uncovered. We liked his work so much we also had him pour a new walkway, replace a skylight, paint a roof and build landscape steps like a photo I provided, and it turned out even better. I would hire him and his crew when we need more work done!

Great job by Sekona Contractor! Worked with Laione and his crew to repair a deck/walkway leading to our front entrance. I required a small step and landing for a recent entryway from the garage to the kitchen. Other contractors quoted me triple and 2.5 times the cost as Sekona. Not only did they offer me the lower cost, but they even supplied a sketch that showed what the final result would look like. They answered all my questions, were prompt and professional. We love the final result, their service, and the honest price. I will definitely hire them again.

I hired Sekona Contractor Hawaii to refinish my deck. There estimate was fair and the work provided was exceptional! We knew there was some issue with rotted wood. After pulling up the deck his team was able up address any concerns and added work was priced fairly. He was attentive to any concerns, and his team was very professional on the job. Bottom line - they are outstanding. Hired Laione and his team for deck siding work. As the railing system was removed, it became apparent that most of the posts were rotten. My wife and I decided to have a new railing system installed on top of the work that was already contracted. They were able to complete this extra work (working weekends) and the pricing was very fair. The team was professional, clean, and courteous. They worked around our kids nap times. I hired Sekona to rebuild part of my wooden deck. They spotted areas that needed addressing that I hadn't realized were problem areas until they showed me. He and his crew did excellent work and were fast and efficient. I've already recommended him to two other people looking for construction work.

Laione, did a good thorough job while replacing our sliding doors and fixing the termite damage that was found. He was easy to work with and got everything done in a timely manner. We would hire him and his team again.

Did numerous contracts with this contractor over the past several months, including replacing old rotting deck posts, installing new yellow safety posts, and replacing numerous posts and beams under the house. He also remodeled two bedrooms, a kitchen and a bath, including installation of new flooring, leveling and demo old cabinets and ceramic tile floor, painting and numerous other issues including new plumbing for an old bath/tub. He goes above what is expected to make the customer happy. He stays with the job, until it is completed. He is easy to work with and you know what you are getting as he always provides a detailed quote, prior to any contract. I am very, very pleased with the the work that was performed by this contractor.
