handyman service
+ -1 morePurchased "Angie's List Deal". Did not follow up on purchase to schedule job. I called and left a vm and they returned the call only to tell me that it is a requirement that they come out to do an estimate first and then schedule the job. I provided a list of the handymen projects and covered it again over the phone. It's pretty straight-forward: hang large mirror, change out 10 door knobs/handles, install showerhead and hang 2 pictures. This is all handyman work and an estimate was not necessary. If the work wasn't finished in the 3 hours, then that would be that. I don't have time to be home for two separate appointments, and an estimate is certainly not needed to do the above-mentioned type of work. I get the impression that this is a scam to get me to buy more hours from them, and I didn't fall for it. The requirement to do an estimate prior to scheduling the job is NOT in the fine print of this, or I would've not purchased it. I'm too busy working to deal with this type of thing, to be honest. I wouldn't use them.
Description of Work: Nothing. Cancelled deal after speaking to them.
