She rented them the 2 bedroom apartment. My friend's English is not that good (Japanese speaking).Both the Owner (Shirley Onishi) and her husband helped show them the apartment. She was shown the parking and her daughter was also told the parking stall number. 2 months after they move in they were told there is no stall included. How can they rent a 2 bedroom with no parking!? The Owner claims that she did not say parking is included and did not show the stall, but how did my friend and her daughter know the stall number and location? Who rent's out a 2 bedroom apartment without parking? I then called to help translate and straighten things out, but Shirley was very rude and repeated "I don't know why I am talking to you". She apologized to my friend, but denies this and even said that my friend apologized. Lies! When I tried to 3 way call my friend to verify this, the owner said she didn't have time for this and hung up on me. Also, my friend was told that there would be "some plumbing work". this turned out to be that the whole building is being repiped. Each unit will take 10 days to repair, but my friends unit will start before Christmas, the company will go vacation, then continue repairs after the new year, so her's will take 20 days. They did discount her 50% for one month, but the construction is noisy and she says it's all the time, so she can't relax in peace, or take a nap if she wanted to.She definitely would not have taken the apartment if she knew all of this. Very deceptive.
