Spoke to Bob on 7/3/2014 regarding whether or not Auto Owners Premier Plus homeowners policy covers my dining room, buffet and coffee tables for full replacement.  He mentioned having received an email from Auto Owners underwriter, Brandon, confirming coverage but Bob was not completely comfortable with reply so he/Kailey will follow-up with more specific questions to get definite written confirmation that my furniture is covered for full replacement.  I should get a reply Tuesday, 7/8/2014, early afternoon.  I will update here with more details because other homeowners may be interested, too.  

Concern:   Furniture made of woods such as teak, mahogany, koa, redwood, rosewood, etc. that are not so common as oak or pine may not be covered by insurance, depending of availability to replace the furniture readily from a retail store.  If furniture is custom-made or not stock items at a retailer, the furniture could be excluded from coverage.

Modern Family is a small insurance broker but Bob likes to be in the loop with customers.

7/10/2014:  Bob and Kailey were able to describe and provide facts about my furniture to the underwriter at Auto Owners.  As a result of their efforts they received written confirmation that my Premier Plus homeowners will rebuild my home at full cost and replace my furniture of concern at replacement cost without depreciation.  They provided me the written assurance from the Auto Owner underwriter to keep for my records.  

When Bob says on his website that he and his small staff provide personal touch, they really do.  He's also an educator on insurance, if you listen to him closely.
