ARAC Roof it Forward - Georgia

The Consultant (Todd Baraff) came to my house and examined my roof for problems. He took pictures (taken that day) of my roof with leaks and other problems caused by heavy showers in the recent past. Todd was able to walk me through the process of having the insurance company come and exam the roof as well and discuss together how we can have the roof replaced. The actual process took only one day and the workers left the ground clean. I did not need to check on them at any time. When i came home later that day, the yard was clean. If I ever needed to have my roof replaced again, ARAC would be the first (and only) company I would use.

A project estimate of cost was provided and then was compared to other estimates and was awarded to ARAC. All contact during estimate phase was highly professional. A schedule was agreed to and on the designated date all materials arrived and unloaded in previously agreed upon locations. Crews arrived on the date and time as agreed. The work was executed expeditiously with proper attention to details and quality. Some decayed wood was discovered and was immediately called to my attention and the price agreed to for the repair. The unit prices in the contract were applied for the additional work. some flashing also had to be replaced with same procedure and unit pricing in the contract. The ARAC representative with whom the contract was agreed was on site for the duration and provided the feed back that I required as the job proceeded. He also made the final inspection and let me know when all work completed to his satisfaction. and subsequently to my satisfaction. The work was completed in all aspects according to the contract, professionally done and as agreed upon schedule.

Nice experience from start to finish. Crew was on time. Work hard to complete in one day. 10 hours later we had a terrific upgraded roof and a clean yard. Todd and Josh (I believe that was his name...nice young man) and their office took care of all paper work with Insurance company. We shouldn't need a roof for several decades, but if we do I know who to call. .

My ARAC representatives Andrew Howell and Casey Eubanks were always punctual, very thorough, and great at follow up when I needed them. Overall This experience was very easy and the value this added to my home was great! The build process was flawless and Andrew/Casey did a detailed property inspection when services were complete. Thanks to ARAC and thanks to Casey and Andrew!

The service we received from ARAC was excellent from the very first call for an inspection. They came and did the inspection the same day that I called and helped us get the claim started with our insurance company on that visit. They met the insurance adjuster and handled everything for us. We had been watching ARAC install other roofs in our neighborhood and they always did a quality job and I was very impressed with how efficient they were and how much care they took in cleaning up. On the day they installed our roof they sent extra crew to ensure it was finished before the threat of afternoon rain. The crew was on-time, very efficient and did a high quality job and finished earlier than expected. The ARAC staff has always been very professional and they have walked us through the entire process so we always new what was going on. They have been very quick to return phone calls and have answered any questions that we have had. I would definitely recommend ARAC to anyone looking for a new roof.

Craig and his team did a great job replacing my roof. They were very professional and knowledgeable about their trade. Craig was quick to respond to phone calls and emails. Communication throughout the process was excellent. Overall I was pleased with their service and would work with them again in the future.

ARAC completely replaced my roof in one day. Josh and Branden were a joy to work with. Any questions I had were answered in a timely manner, any issues were addressed immediately, and they were even kind enough to help me communicate with my insurance and mortgage companies to help move things along. The roof is beautiful, I have a 30 year warranty, my curb appeal increased, and the value of my home did as well. I was even surprised with a cup coffee a time or two when we were finalizing plans and payments! I highly recommend this company, especially Josh and Branden, and I plan to use them for any home repairs I may need in the future!

Our experience working with ARAC was outstanding. Casey and Andrew were great to work with from start to finish. We had begun the process of having our roof replaced with a different company that gave us bad information and delayed the process by their lack of communication and follow through. This was the exact opposite of the experience with ARAC. Casey and Andrew clearly explained the entire process and helped guide us through it efficiently without delay. They explained to us what to expect on the day of the installation and checked in with us through out the day to answer any questions and confirm that everything was going smoothly and according to plan. When they had completed the installation they made sure that everything was cleaned up and left as pristine as when they started! Our new roof looks great and we are so pleased that we made the decision to use ARAC. Excellent. They took care of everything. They handled insurance paperwork, claims... and Maria Wheeler, the restoration consultant did absolutely everything for us. We didn't have to worry about anything during the whole process.

From our first contact with Casey and Andrew everything went exactly as it should. They assisted us in working with the insurance company, explained the process thoroughly, answered all questions and made sure the work was done within the time frame discussed. The workers were very prompt and kept things neat and organized. All in all it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend ARAC to anyone with roofing issues.

The whole process was easy and very professional. Everything looks great and they did such a good job of cleaning up after the job was finished. Communication with Nathan was 2nd to none.

I used ARAC based on the ratings here on Angie's list. The sales and scheduling process was relatively easy, but the installation challenges were not. During installation they broke the side light glass in our front door. Our sales person Josh Mowdy assured me it would be fixed that afternoon, I left a message on Saturday after it had not been completed and did not reach him till Monday. He said the glass couldn't get to me until Wednesday, and I would have to be home for the repair, the glass company came out measured and said they were only there for an estimate and the repair was scheduled for Friday. When the repair appointment came and went I tried to reach my sales person with no response, when I contacted the glass company I found out the repair had yet to be approved. It took a call to the manager to get the repair moving, which was not completed until the following Friday, a full 3 weeks after the damage. In addition to the glass damage there is damage to our decks which had been stained recently there is roofing cement in addition to scrapping left by the decision to use the rear decks as the dump area for the old roof. I have been assured it would be repaired but have not received any contact since the glass was repaired. I have picked up more than 2 handfuls of nails out of our drive way and have had a tire patched as a result of missing one. I would not recommend using ARAC as a roofing vendor

Not only did the insurance company claim we did not have any hail/wind damage, but we are now stuck with the bill for the repairs because we have to do the repairs before our renewal date or our policy will not be renewed. All of this because I trusted ARAC to do the right thing. They assured me that we had hail/wind damage and that they would be able to convince our insurance company of this and so I filed a claim. Do not use this company. They are extremely unprofessional and their employees have very little roofing experience. They are just "storm chasers". Also, the consultant Maria who originally rang the doorbell with the roofers never followed up at all. We never saw or heard from her again. Our entire out of pocket cost for the repairs was $2625.

Great experience. Todd was out the day after we called him. The crew arrived on time, he checked their work and the job was done in one day. I would definitely used them again.

The consultant Jeff Lapham was very professional. The process went very smooth. He did everything he said he would do. I would highly recomend this company and use them in the future. The crew did a great job and they had my new roof done in a day.

Mel Takekawa was our restoration consultant and he was excellent to deal with. He was knowledge, very responsive to our questions and was on site to ensure the quality of the work. The work was completed on time and the quality was great.Mel Takekawa at ARAC is a person you can trust.

The entire home roof replacement from start to finish went very well. The process was thoroughly explailned. Casey and Andrew were present from beginning to end to walk me through the procedure, including sitting with me when I needed to contact my insurance company. They both displayed an outstanding attitude, knowledge, and professionalism throughout the undertaking which was very appreciated. They also checked back with me several times to ensure I was completely satisfied. The work crew arrived in a timely manner and totally cleaned the area before their departure. I would definitely recommend this company, and in particular these gentlemen, to anyone who has roofing issues. This is also a local company which is a plus. Thanks for a job well done!!!

Todd from ARAC contacted us about our roof. He was with us through the insurance claim process, met with the adjuster and walked us through the claim. Once the insurance company approved to replace the roof ARAC and Todd explained the process. I am very happy with the way Todd helped us through the process. In-fact we were not in town when they came and replaced the roof. ARAC did a good job cleaning after and I did walk around the house and could not find anything. I am really happy with the work Todd and ARAC did and will recommend them to my friends and family.

ARAC completed the roof replacement as scheduled. They came arrived in the morning and by 6pm, the roof was installed. The contractors were professional and cleaned the area when the work was finished. Excellent job. I was in the final stages of selecting a roof vendor and did not realize my neighbor was replacing their roof with ARAC. One evening, the ARAC representatives noticed my damaged roof and introduced themselves, and provided brochure on their services. After weeks of reviewing ARAC's customer's referrals who had the same insurance company as myself, I signed up with ARAC. ARAC did not negotiate with my insurance company, I handled that but I wanted to work with a vendor who was familiar with my insurance company. I had the pleasure of working with the tag team of Brett and Bate. Brett was very easy to talk to and always available to provide the necessary information I required to make the informed decision. He was my main point of contact prior to the roof installation then Bate stepped in. I highly recommend ARAC for roof replacement services.

Our new roof installation went great. Our consultant, Jeff Lapham, was in contact with us throughout the entire process, explaining every step and every option. He really made the whole process seem simple, despite some time-delay issues with our insurance company. The installation itself was done in 1 day. The installers were professional and took great care to protect our property during the installation. Bottom line is, I would absolutely refer ARAC to anyone who needs a new roof on their house. ARAC Alliance and Restoration did a fantastic job with our roof replacement. The process started when Nathan stopped by after replacing the roof of a neighbor and informed me that it looked like our roof had hail and wind damage. He asked if he could inspect the roof and take pictures to support any evidence of hail or wind damage. Within seconds of being on the roof, Nathan identified an area by the chimney where 5 shingles had been blown off, along with evidence of hail and wind damage. Due the number of shingles missing and with pending rain, Nathan volunteered to buy a tarp and put it on the roof to prevent any further damage. After contacting our insurance company and setting up an inspection, I let Nathan know and he was with us every step of the way from the inspection with the adjustor, reviewing the claim submitted by the adjustor, approval from the insurance company, etc. He was patient with us as we struggled to determine what color shingle we wanted for our new roof. On the day the roof was replaced, the forecast called for rain in the afternoon and the team from ARAC arrived promptly and went straight to work. They had the old roof removed and were laying the new felt paper before I knew it. The one thing I would recommend ARAC do is inform the team replacing the roof to be cognizent of where they are throwing the old shingles. (stack of shingles landed on our sky light and I thought it was going to bust). Outside of that one hiccup, the team had the roof replaced before the heavy rain rolled in. Nathan called that afternoon to check in and see if I was satisfied with the job and I informed him I was very happy with the work performed. I also let Nathan know that we had some screens damaged and some tar marks on the siding in the back of the house. Nathan and his team came by and looked at the damage and were back at our house the next day replacing the damaged screens and cleaning the tar marks off the siding. The level of service we received from Nathan made us feel like we were his only client, but in fact he was juggling many more clients and giving each and everyone of them the same level of attention that we received. I would highly recommend Nathan and ARAC to anyone looking to have their roof replaced.

Total process was detayed due improper quipment secodary . I was left feelin like completing the job was cmdesome to some secondary to outside contractors. Once the job was completed. I was very satisfied with the quality of work and professionalism.

Nathan Saulsberry (ARAC) was there when my insurance adjustor came and assisted in pointing out the hail and wind damage on my roof. My insurance provider agreed to provide full replacement for the roof as well as about 2/3rds of my gutters. Nathan promised that the work would start and complete in one day, and that all debris would be removed "same day". I can say that ARAC did exactly what they said. The roofing crew showed up at 7:30AM on the scheduled date. They removed the old shingles, and installed felt and new shingles in one day as promised. I am very pleased with the work done and have referred Nathan (and ARAC) to several neighbors that have all had the same professional service.

We set up an appointment for the provider to come to our home for the initial estimate on the work needed. Approximately 50 minutes after the time that the contractor was supposed to arrive, we called to see why no one had shown up yet. We were informed that the company had no idea why no one had shown up and that we would receive a call ASAP to inform us what went wrong and to reschedule. The provider never called us back. We were incredibly disappointed with the complete lack of communication and the clear disrespect for our time and need for services, especially after all of the great reviews on this website. We had to resort to setting up a new appointment with a different contractor.
