Installation was quick and we thought professionally done. $4200. During the first year warranty. The unit stopped cooling in July. We called the company and emailed them several times but they never returned our calls to repair the unit. We finally found someone else to come. For $150 they added freon, checked for leaks (none). Not a Grandaire authorized dealer so no reimbursement. We had a mild winter after that and did not use the heater. In September of 2017 we turned on the heater and it wouldn't work. A company that does warranty work for Grandaire came out and found that no heat strips has been initially installed as contracted for. This company charged me $221 in labor. Sent the invoice to Miles. No response. Complaint filed with mamufacturer/distributor ICP. No reimbursement. They said to deal with Miles. How do you do that when they won't call back? Let everyone on Angie's List know! ( and the BBB).
