+ -1 moreI did not end up going with them because they left my bid on their desk. It was a free estimate. They came when they were supposed to come. I did not have to call him. Their prices are very high end. Financially I could do this, but it doesn't make sense for me. I am sure they are a good company. My first impression is that he was a very nice man -- I just chose not to proceed with the bid.

Description of Work: Removed 40yr old deck. Built larger deck with catwalk to existing screened porch. Added screen door to porch. | |I got quotes from several contractors, all were very close. I chose Timberline because of their reputation. We were also able to speak to another home owner who chose Timberline. The home owners were thrilled with their new large deck, roof work, and whole experience. They're a local company with many, many years of experience. Bill came to talk about quote. He had a tablet and was able to show me railing options and other pictures to make the quote as accurate and painless as possible. Our scheduled start date had to be pushed back because of lots of rain. When the weather finally cooperated, the crew showed up on time and got right to work. The gentlemen who represent the company for the quote actually do the work. The same crew arrived every day and completed the job. They were polite, punctual, efficient, and detail oriented. They completely removed all debris, dug new footings, built the deck quickly and correctly. We are very happy. Well worth the money. The deck looks fantastic. Makes our old house look so much better. |I would definitely hire them again. We are DIYers, but we're already discussing having Timberline back to do more reno work inside the house. |You definitely get what you pay for with this company.

Description of Work: Estimate for a new garage door and new window install. The price was almost ten times other estimates. They were really cordial and friendly. However it did take a couple of weeks for someone to come by for the estimate.

+ 0 moreWe had shower, tub and cabinets replaceed as well as flooring and had walls painted. Time was a little longer than initially expected but that was due to communication error and shower glass came from manufacturer incorrect. This company was attentive to our questions and concerns but also very honest. We work shift work and they were willing to work with our schedules as well. We were very happy with the results and would highly recommend them. If you use this company they are not designers but will give you good imput to your ideas for design. So I would suggest you don't call them expecting them to come in with design drawings. We had an idea of what we wanted and they helped us tweek the design---we are very happy with result.

+ 0 moreSuperb job. Two men worked three days, and fabricated an entire raised deck from just a pile of raw materials. It was worth the price of the job just to get to see such fine craftsmen work. Cleanup job was immaculate. We are thrilled with the new deck. All work was done on time, and exactly as expected.
Description of Work: Demolished old wood deck, removed debris, and built new wooden deck on rear of house. Repaired front porch. Put new door on the rear of the house.

Description of Work: Rich got lot on the way here. He was abrasive and did not listen to what we wanted. The pricing was based on what he felt should be done and not how we asked if it could be done. He told us the inspectors and state building codes had all changed, but never showed up with a bldg. inspector to pre evaluate if it could be done a different way. I would not recommend him to anyone I know.

+ 2 moreEverything they do is first class. We’ve used them for everything that has any type of carpentry and in the outside structure of the house. They’re a little high but it’s worth it. They’re religious people and you never hear a harsh word or a loud voice amongst them when they’re here. They’re just good people to have around the yard. It’s nice to have somebody in the neighborhood that does this type of work. You don’t mind paying a little extra to get fine work.
Description of Work: Timberline Construction Company came out to set and replace the fascia in my thermal pane window. They completely remodeled the outside of our house when we moved here. We used them on the porch.

He was honest to say he wasn't certain they could finish before our Christmas guests arrive, so we have postponed until Jan. Will know more after project is finished and we have a lovely kitchen.

+ 0 moreI contracted with Timberline approximately 2 months ago for a deck replacement. I had some specific 'wants' and Timberline was my first choice of 3 bids. The company's owners, Rich & Bill do all the work with the help of 2 assistants. They always showed around 8am & worked throughout the day they best they could, despite the frequent rain we recently have had. They really are a first rate contractor and very approachable. I tend to be hand's on & involved in this type of project. If I had a question, either would put down his work & do his best to answer to my needs. I really can't emphasis that enough.They would go out of their way to make me satisfied. I am very happy with the product. For me, two thumbs up. I would recommend this company to anyone who is rebuilding their deck.
Description of Work: Timberline rebuilt my 400 sq' deck while keeping majority of existing joists & replacing of all support posts. Everything else was replaced with KDAT pressure treated lumber & iron railings

+ -1 moreThey did a really good job. They had already done some work around my house before and the results are always good. A while ago they built my 20x20 workshop and matched it to the house perfectly. Their prices are always fair.
Description of Work: They added a 16x20 deck in my backyard. It is not covered. They did a concrete patio underneath, tore down my eight year old deck, and made the new one out of composite decking material. It didn't need to be painted because the material is already pre-colored. It took them around two weeks to finish the job.
