Description of Work: Belfor saved our home. Within 30 minutes of my calling them from out of town, Belfor arrived at my home and started remediation from an overnight busted pipe and a horrific plumbing flood. Within an hour and a half of my calling them Belfor had a full crew onsight, vacumming water, setting up fans and commercial dehumidifiers, moving precious antiques to dry areas of the house, removing a collapsed ceiling, etc., etc., etc. It was a huge mess of a job and Belfor was focused right from the start on doing everything they could do to save as much as possible. Other firms that I called were more worried about having me pay my insurance deductible than getting to work - Belfor blew the others away by a mile with their responsiveness. They trusted me to pay the deductible later and showed genuine concern for helping us first.

We received several estimates, but what impressed me the most with this company was the fact that they guaranteed their work. Not only that, but if the first test didn't pass, they would pay for a second test. This was really important because of the situation that we have, the cost each time to do the test, and because we were informed that about 30-35 percent of mold tests fail the first time. I did have to wait a few weeks for the estimate, but this seemed to be the norm for all the other companies that we received estimates from as well. We won't use them because we're going to go with another company that had a lower estimate.
