Very professional and easy to work with. Everything went exactly the way it was supposed to, no glitches. Movers Direct is very good at what they do.

Great. They were on time and worked fast. Everything was unloaded and arrived undamaged.

I wasn’t very happy with them. I wasn’t happy about their techniques on how they do their business. I mean their trucks are too small. They say they are big enough for a 3-bedroom house, but they’re really not. We had ended up using another truck, so it cost extra money. The gentleman/ the movers didn’t want to listen to me or they weren’t doing what I had paid to have done. So, I had to call their boss. I just wasn’t overall happy with them or their job performance. It was not a good experience. They took 2 days.

3 men arrived on time. Immediately started working. All 3 were polite and worked entire time. Placed boxes and furniture were we requested. Nothing was dropped or damaged during the move. They finished sooner than expected. Would definitely use again!

Excellent service and a great value; I compared with other movers and this was the best price. One estimate came in at more than double what Mover's Direct charged me. I had them do packing and moving and they did excellent work. My job entails a lot of moving so I have quite a bit of experience. This was my 14th move and right at the top of the list. The guys were capable, professional, patient and hard working. My wife is big on customer service and she was very pleased. I recommended them to my daughter and they're moving her next week. I'd recommendd them to anyone

It was great to have the same two men pack us up and then unload in NY - I really liked that! They were on time for everything, did everything in a timely manner, were professional and personable. The manager, Christy was the BEST! Very on top of things, professional, and worked with me and all my needed details. She was definitely the reason I went with this moving company! Would use this company again in a heartbeat!

They packed and loaded everything with extreme care and caution. The move went exactly as scheduled, and we couldn't have been happier with their service.

I was so impressed with the personal service. I piggy packed my small load onto a larger one. Christy in the officecwas very helpful. The movers at both ends of the journey was capable and courteous, and on time.

Let me start by saying I was going to make the mistake of going with one of the big brokers everyone knows who they are. The problem was they wouldn't give me a firm price, the price was all based on weight and the cost could go up never down based on the weight of my items. I saw horror stories all over the internet about these companies. I was almost resigned to the fact that I would have to do the move myself. Then I decided to check Yelp and that is how I found Movers Direct. Christine gave a firm price for the truck, the guys to load and unload the truck moving from Chattanooga to Englewood, Florida. The guys actually showed up early and they did an excellent job. It took 4 hours to load the truck then they headed South. The broker companies tell you your stuff will arrive in 10 days. Movers Direct had my stuff in Florida the next morning. Tanner and Colby were fantastic! They were professional and patient as we would tell them where to put everything as they unloaded the truck. I don't think I can tell you how happy I was to find a company that owned the truck and didn't broker the move out to who knows. It went very well - so very glad we used them! Ours was a small job and we didn't really know if anyone would be willing to take it but Movers Direct LLC was happy to do it. Christy was great when it came to scheduling. The day we had originally hoped for was booked but came open later and she called me right back. The guys who did the moving were on time, very polite, hardworking and very careful. The price was also reasonable - just couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We tried this mover because of the Angie's List reviews. I would never use this mover again. We initially called this mover and got a quote. We called to postpone our move by 1 month and found out when it was time to pay the bill that the rate was higher. When I rescheduled weeks before the move there was no mention of a rate change even though I verbally reconfirmed the initial quote. The guys were nice but several small items were lost in the move, which was local, which I attribute to disorganization. Things just got worse when we realized one of the movers used the bathroom in our new place and left it stopped up. They also removed all of the drawers from our dresser during the move, I guess to lighten the load, and broke all of the fasteners inside while putting them back in. Of course we didn't realize this until after they left when we tried to open and close the drawers and they were all off track and wobbly. We found the broken pieces from the guides were in a top drawer. The worst part of the experience was that the owner/manager who was so nice about setting all of this up, was completely rude and unsympathetic when we told her about the problems with her staff. When I asked about insurance to pay for the things her crew broke or lost, she was snarky and said their insurance wouldn't cover anything. Her response to their worker having a bowel movement in our home and then leaving it stopped up was also of no concern. She finally offered a $40 credit. We are set to move again, and will absolutely avoid Mover's Direct. The crew was overall friendly, but I'm not sure how they would qualify as professional given the issues. What professional does a No. 2 at the client's home? The owner/manager definitely was not friendly or professional when problems arose and is not customer-service driven. The owner also said she didn't care about getting bad review.

It went so well - Christy is so easy to work with and because they had a truck in Las Vegas on the weekend we needed the move she made it economically easier for us to move this table to our kids in Texas - and the two man moving crew was so careful with the table - they completely wrapped it and the leafs and delivered it without a scratch just two days later - while this was only one piece of furniture it was a very important piece to our family and i couldn't have picked a better moving company - good job to Christy and the moving crew.

Perfectly! The guys were professional, courteous and patient. Nothing broke, nothing was scratched and they paid strict attention to the information we gave them concerning some antiques. The staff at the senior apt. remarked how polite they were. They were on time on both ends of a long distance move. Worth every penny. Also, Christy is patient and professional. We will make sure we tell friends in Dalton. Thank you guys!

It was superb. They came on time and kept us updated. They provided dollies and blankets needed. They were polite, they did not cuss and I felt safe. They were helpful and respectful. They were very careful with our belongings. They were way cheaper than other companies.

The move itself went fine. My issue with the movers was the packing or lack thereof. Movers Direct was definitely more on the expensive side of the quotes we received, but due to the good Angie's List reviews, I went with them. The crew was punctual and nice. We had 6 packers the first day and then a crew of 3 for the loading and move itself. The leader was organizing things while the other two loaded and unloaded the truck, so it got a little slow. But otherwise, things were fine. Packing, on the other hand, was totally hit or miss. Some things were wrapped nicely and boxes labels as "FRAGILE." Others? Just shoved into boxes. Two lamps weren't wrapped and were shoved in a box with pillows. The box wasn't labeled as "FRAGILE" either. Of course, when I opened the box, the two lamps were completely broken. We have a custom leather couch in the living room and two of the leather cushions were taped together'- tape side down on the leather. Of course, removing the packing tape resulted in removing the coloring and some of the leather itself. We had a box of kitchen dishes where platters were just shoved in the box and they were not wrapped. Of course they broke. Two of the three platters were wedding gifts, so it was somewhat disappointing. While we had insurance, I fully understood that once they moved us into storage, Movers Direct was not responsible for insuring the items once another company moved us out of storage and into the house. I did send Christy an email on May 13, 2016 detailing the shoddy packing and included pictures. I didn't want any compensation, but at least the acknowledgement that this would be addressed so that future customers don't have to deal with this. When you're paying this much for a move, there's no excuse for poor packing. However, I never received a response from Christy. While I had recommended them to another family, I had to inform them of the poor packing. I wouldn't recommend them going forward.

Rickey and Ronnie showed up early, and were very patient when they had to wait for the alley behind my building to become unblocked with other trucks, in order to get to the loading dock. They were so professional and a true pleasure to work with during a very stressful time. They took the time to make sure nothing was missed and everything was properly wrapped since it was going into storage. It was only my belongings on the truck, and they drove up the night before and left to drive down right after they loaded the truck. Lamar and Beau met me at the storage facility 4 days later, and also were very polite and pleasant to work with. They used furniture paper padding to make sure nothing would get crushed or damaged within the storage unit,. We weren't sure if everything was going to fit into the storage unit, but Lamar patiently and diligently made it work ,with standing room to spare! I would highly recommend Movers Direct for the diligence and professionalism!

Everything went great! I just called Christy about a possible move with my husband's work.

Daniel, Kyle and Andrea showed up at our house right on time in Colorado, ready to pack us up and move us out. Instead of two days, they did it in one. They came with a truck that would hold an 1800 square foot house, per our conversation about how much was to be moved. They packed up the house and packed up the truck and off they went. 5 days later, they were at our new house in Florida to bring us our belongings. They came on time, were very professional and had the truck unloaded within 5 hours. From beginning to end, we were very happy with Movers Direct. From the first phone call to Christy to get a quote, to waving goodby to Daniel and Kyle in Florida, we were very satisfied. I would highly recommend them.

We choose Movers Direct because of all the good reviews that they have. They may be more expensive than some movers, but we thought it was worth it. They charge by the truck rather than by weight. The movers showed up on time, were professional and friendly, and took great care of our furniture. It took them 4 hours to load the truck, although we had packed all the boxes ourselves and we had a large solid wood computer desk that was heavy and difficult to get out the door. They delivered our items to the apartment on time and quickly without any damage. At this point, I can not evaluate the condition of the items in the storage unit. We did find 1 box in the storage unit that contained automotive fluids that was placed on it's side and had started to leak. If it had not been found early, it would have caused damage to the items below it. Other than that, they did a great job and made a cross-country move a lot less stressful.

I used Movers Direct LLC in September of 2015 and shamefully, have not taken the time before now to let you know what an amazing job the gentlemen did for me. We had a very difficult situation involving a very steep driveway. The gentlemen worked tirelessly all day and all night long (literally, they were not done until morning) to transfer our furniture and belongings from their larger truck to a smaller transfer vehicle that could maneuver the steep driveway. It was hot, the hours were long and the conditions were less than optimum but I never heard one word of complaint from any of the young men at any time. They were courteous, professional and were all hard workers. All of our belongings were delivered in perfect condition. I am beyond pleased, from making the initial contact to the last piece of furniture being placed.

We could not have been more pleased. We liked the idea of a set fee instead of an hourly cost. The office person was terrific too! Lamar and his 2 helpers were absolutely wonderful. They were professional packers, brought all of the boxes, etc and nothing was broken/damaged when they unpacked. They put things away and removed all of the packing material. Since there was an issue with 10 inches of snow in Asheville, when they left Augusta, they took the secured truck elsewhere and drove when it was safe: they unloaded and unpacked in very cold weather. MoversDirect LLC even made an extra stop for us, putting some of our things into a nearby storage unit. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

It was as smooth as can be. Christy was helpful with getting all the details lined up and their price was the most competitive. The movers, Daniel and Brody, were on-time, polite, hard working, and very careful with all my belongings. They communicated well with me after they left and even arranged for an early delivery. The whole experience was pain free. I would HIGHLY recommend Movers Direct and wish my previous movers had been like Daniel and Brody.
