Willis Cox

Work was performed by one of Mr. Cox employees. I did not see the product but I don't believe I was given a competitive price. I assume the work was done. Overall perception was not good.

I cannot speak highly enough of Mr. Cox. Willis did an amazing job through and through. He was on another job when I called, and based on my description, he put us as his next call of the day (our heater was pouring water from the top). He arrived as soon as he was able, and he and his assistant were courtesy to the point of putting on booties to begin performing the inspection. He ran anything they were going to do by me, and he gave me a fair estimate with a breakdown of cost. I even went so far as to call a few other plumbers to be sure, and his estimate was incredibly reasonable. They had all of the repairs (which was a ton of work) done by day's end, and it was masterful in its completion. He was personable, fair, reasonable, and highly professional. Truly what you should look for in a plumber. He is also extremely amazing with repeat customers. We had some services rendered on our outgoing piping a bit back, and he remembered my wife, my daughter, and our dogs. I honestly cannot recommend him or his services highly enough.

We originally scheduled to meet at the house but both he and I were running late due to Atlanta traffic. He kept me up to speed on his ETA so there was no confusion. Once he arrived, he was very professional as both he and his worker put on booties over their boots before entering the home. After showing them the old water heater and the new replacement in the box right next to it, Willis went to search for the water pressure regulator (which as it turns out I didn't have). After looking through the inspection report from my home purchase, the inspector noted that they could not locate the regulator leading me to conclude that Willis had done me a favor by pointing out the he could not locate one either. After a brief back and forth, we concluded on an agreed upon price to remove and dispose of the old water heater, install the new water heater and expansion tank, supply and install a pressure regulator, and fill out certificate of compliance for low flow fixtures for DeKalb County. I was happy with the agreed upon price and even happier to find out he could start immediately and finish the job that evening. After a couple of hours he had everything up and running and he and I walked through the house to each fixture to verify water had been restored and to clean it's aerator. He then showed me where he had replaced 3 of the valves (the main water shutoff, water heater water shutoff, and water heater gas shutoff). This was not included in our initial discussion; however, Willis added these valves in at no cost to me and explained that some of the older valves develop leaks over time and were difficult to shut off. In the event of an emergency when I was not present, these new valves would be much easier for my wife to turn off than the old ones. (This honestly meant a lot to me... that he would have my family's well being as a priority). Upon final inspection, it appeared that he and his helper left the area as clean if not cleaner than when they arrived. I am overall extremely satisfied with the work performed, the price it was performed for, the time frame for which it was completed in, and the professionalism of Willis and his helper. I know I will have future plumbing projects in the future that I will need some help with and Willis will be the first phone call I make.

This provider does excellent work! He is extremely reasonable, in time and great, he has completely redone my whole plumbing system as well as a few other jobs. I hired someone originally who said he had to tear out a wall but this provider was able to do it without having to do it.

Willis came over on the day I called him.  I had a leaky copper pipe in my basement crawlspace.  He immediately went to work,   replaced a valve, and fixed the copper connection.  He also went out of his way to inspect all the other pipes in my crawlspace without my having to ask him!
Willis takes pride in his work and is good at what he does.  He also charges very reasonable prices.  And he is a nice guy!

Willis responded quickly to my phone call, arrived on time, put on shoe covers, and went to work.
With an outdated sink fixture like this one, getting parts would have been next to impossible, and expensive.
Willis suggested trying to rebuild the water valve stems under the sink instead. It was a challenging plan.
He took things apart, retrieved the bad stems, and drove to the nearest plumbing store for the correct part replacements.
He was terrific!
He rebuilt both stems, saved me hundreds and hundreds of dollars, and fixed the leak --- without our having to search for original and expensive new fixture parts.
Willis is dependable, honest, and a good guy. I highly recommend him for any plumbing job, big or small, even water heaters.
