SAVANNAH HOME SVC

After calling around and getting 4 different estimates I decided on these guys. I was told that they were cheaper because they worked 7 days a week so they had plenty of work so they could keep the costs lower. When I talked to them on Tuesday I asked to have them send me a written estimate stating everything they would do and the costs. I was told no problem, I asked if they were going to pull any permits and was told that no permits were needed and that they would be out to my house on Thursday. Well Thursday came Friday came no calls no estimate no nothing. Saturday I get woken up @ 8am to hammering and sawing. I was told by the guy that his truck broke down and he couldn't get here with the supplies until today. I watched him fill in holes that my dogs had dug and layout were the patio and walkway was going. He left for the day and said he was coming back on Sunday. I thought it was strange that he was working on a Sunday and he even made a comment that he hasn't worked on a Sunday in months. Well Sunday came and went and he showed up on Monday. He got it all framed out then left for the day saying that the cement truck would be there Tuesday @ noon. The truck showed up on time and I showed them both were my septic tank was so they wouldn't drive on it. The pour went ok. He splattered concrete on my AC unit, my windows, and dryer vent and never cleaned them off, so I have cement on them now that I can't get off. He took a big broom and added texture to it, which I wish he hadn't because it is way to rough on your feet when you walk on it. After watching some DIY shows and seeing how they poured concrete for patios, my contractor did NONE of this. He just filled in the holes, leveled it with his shovel and pour the cement right on top. After a couple days he came and took the forms off and put them outside my fence, when he came for his money I asked him about the wood and he told me that he had another job up the road and would be coming back to get them and that is why put them outside the fence. Well needless to say the wood is still there and I can't get a hold of him. I like my patio but I wonder if it will hold up since they just poured the cement right on to the ground without any prep work. Everyone loves the patio but told them I would not recommend this guy for your job.
