Horrible. After having services in our temporary house we attempted to transfer the to service our permanent house. Comcast told us it wouldn't be a problem. Then they told us that they didn't service our subdivision. When we moved we canceled our subscription and turned in our equipment. When we cancelled we were told there wouldn't be a penalty since Comcast doesn't offer services in our area. Three months later we received a bill for early termination of our contract. Numerous phone calls later with the rudest people you would ever want to talk to and still no resolution. I would never recommend Comcast to anyone.

Comcast is the only cable provider in this area, so we have no choice but to use them. WE HATE THIS COMPANY! First off, let me just say, that this senario has been the same each and every time we have EVER needed a tech to come out. We called to report the issue, and got support from India, so could barely understand what they were saying. India askes for the phone number attached to the account so they can pull up the account. I give them the number and they say an account does not exist with that number. After finding my last bill and giving them my account number, they find the account. When I ask what number is attached to the account, they give me the exact same phone number I just gave them. They finally got us scheduled for a 4 hour block between 8AM-12PM the next morning (which meant I had to take a half day off work). At 12:30PM the next day, I called to find out where the service tech was, and was told, by the rep in INDIA again, that they had between 8AM-8PM to arrive, which started a heated debate over why they would give you 4 hour windows if they have 12 hours to get to you. I ended up taking the WHOLE day off. At 7PM, with no sign of the tech, we called back (to India) and was told the our ticket had been cancelled. When we became upset, and requested a supervisor, we were told they had all gone home. When we requested that a tech be sent THAT EVENING, we were told that there was no way to contact the Comcast dispatcher. About 10 minutes after I sent an angry e-mail to my local office,stating that I would just put their digital boxes out by the trash for them to pick up, a tech called and said he was on his way. He got here at 9PM. WE HATE THIS COMPANY!!!
Description of Work: I was sent a letter stating that my rates would be going up $20 a month because I had HD/DVR digital boxes, and had previously only been charged for the basic box. Since I did not have HD/DVR capable TV's, I told them to come switch out the boxes.

Once inside the side office, the customer service representative invited me to sit down. She pulled up my account on her computer and reviewed the details of my account. She provided me with various options on reducing the monthly bill. She was sympathetic to my concerns about the high monthly cost. She was able to extend a $20 monthly reduction in my bill for 12 months effective immediately. Mission accomplished! She also advised me that I could save money by purchasing my own modem which I rent from Comcast. She also advised me that I could save additional money by using a smaller adapter rather than a full-blown cable box for one of my television sets. That saved me money. However, the smaller adapter has a limited number of cable channels that it receives.
Description of Work: I visited the Comcast service center to inquire how I might get the amount of my monthly bill reduced. Although I had to wait on a line for approximately 30 minutes, once I met with a customer service representative, she was gracious, upbeat, and professional. She listened attentively to my concerns and invited me into a side office where she then reviewed all my options with me.

There was no charge to fix the line. They were prompt and came when they said they were going to come. The gentleman that came was very friendly and knowledgeable. He immediately found the problem. I've not had any bad experiences with them.
