GIOVANNI'S TILE DESIGN

Giovanni is the gold standard. They represent everything a service provider should be. Everyone was terrific, from the showroom to the demo, installation, and follow-up calls. I was especially blown away by the install guy. This is a family operation; you can tell they are building it to hand down to the next generation. We have been burned in the past and put this job off because of those negative experiences. We were nervous starting this job because it involved removing the heated tile floor from around our custom cabinets and surrounding marble surfaces. Much to our delight, they removed our old flooring without damaging anything else. They respected the other spaces in our home and treated our property as if it were theirs. A few months after the installation, the new heated floor stopped working due to a faulty controller (it happens). They wanted to come out that day and fix it. It was as if they were still trying to earn our business after they had already cashed our check. This is the way it should be. The tile work is flawless, and the heated floor is much more consistent than our old one. You can find someone cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Giovanni completed our tile job a little over a year ago. We waited a year to ensure we had no problems before leaving a review.

Very happy with the work. In the showroom Giovanni was a great help in making tile selections, and let us take things home to make sure we were happy. They are a bit higher price than other tile installers but you get what you pay for and they did a top quality job.

I scheduled an appointment for the estimate, and received the estimate by email after two or three days.  I did not schedule for a couple of months, then went to the showroom, looked at sample stone, took two different samples home.  The one that I chose was the one Silvio (who did the estimate) suggested when I described what I wanted.  I scheduled three weeks ahead.  The installation was completed today.
This business is family owned and work is done by family members.  I met Giovanna, the sister in the Roswell showroom several months ago.  She was very helpful and pleasant.  I scheduled an estimate through her, and her brother, Silvio, came out and measured and answered all my questions, then sent me an estimate.  He called to follow up, but I wasn't ready then.  Later, I went back in and scheduled.  
Antonio, his brother and his father came out as scheduled on Thursday, did demolition and put up wet board/cement backer board in preparation for stone installation.  The second day, they installed the stone and granite countertop.  Then the third morning they installed grout.  
Prior to any work, they laid heavy cardboard construction paper on the floor, and taped it down with painters tape.  It stayed from beginning to end.  Each day they laid tarps on the path from the door to the kitchen and removed them when they left.  They used a vacuum and so there was very little debris or dust after they left. 
I got estimates from two of the big box stores prior to the one from Giovanni's.  Their prices were similar, but the service and the quality I received from Giovanni's was excellent.  I definitely made the right decision in choosing Giovanni's Tile.  I LOVE the back splash and the granite matches the rest of my granite counter tops perfectly.
I would definitely use Giovanni's again, and I have already recommended them to a friend who is thinking of having tile work done.
