+ -1 moreThe owner was very hesitant to make things right. The project foreman had good will, but wasn't confident enough to get the job done right. I felt that there was a lot of dishonesty. I found out that they lied to me about stripping the wallpaper off the wall and they painted right over it. The actual job looked good, but there were a lot of things that were left undone. They did a bathroom for me and they had to redo the flooring. I felt like I had to act as the general contractor on this job.
Description of Work: They turned my kitchen into a living room/dining room open concept.

+ 4 moreDuring my estimate, they really listened to what I wanted. They listened to my wants and came up with better alternatives for our situation. They were very prompt. If they said they were going to be here, they were here. They called me if anything ever came up. They were very responsive.
Description of Work: We hired The Marcus Corp to remodel our kitchen, put on a back deck, reside our home, and refloored our porch.
