The overall experience with this company was good. The estimator was prompt and gave me some additional advice on maintaining my other trees.

The performed the work, and responded quickly. We were happy with their work. It's easy to remember their name. I can't remember the price, but it was reasonable.

They gave an very competitive estimate. I appreciated the thoroughness of the estimator.

They showed up on time. They did good work. They seemed to be very professional. I have them in my Rolodex and will call them in the future.

I have used them a couple of times and always found them helpful and accommodating. They go the extra yard. They are very prompt.

They were significantly higher than other estimates we had. He was a personable guy, it just came down to the price.

The owner was very responsive. She called back before I could leave a message on her voicemail. William was able to come out by the end of that day to give us a quote. They came the next morning to take down our tree. We were in the middle of digging a pool and we had to take the tree down before we could continue digging. We were very appreciative of the quick time line and the good job. William and two guys came over to take down the tree. They knew exactly what they were doing and were professional. They give a 10% Angie's List discount.

It went really well. They had to bring very heavy equipment and did a great job figuring it all out. The tree came down fairly quickly and they did good with clean up as well. Their pricing was also competitive and we were very pleased.

We had 404-Cut-Tree come out and look at a very large pine that had been uprooted by strong winds. It took out another 13 trees as it came down. The evaluator came out on time, the day after the storm(!!) and gave us an estimate on the spot. We called them later that day and accepted their bid. I know they had lots of trucks out. I saw several in my neighborhood over the next few days. Anyway, they showed up THE NEXT MORNING, worked all day, and took all the trees out of the yard. They left the large cut up sections of the big tree in the gutter until the removal service came the next day. They don't remove or grind up stumps, but they coordinated with a contractor who does. Their service was superb, quick, professional, and didn't require any effort on my part except to make the initial call and write a check..

Bid was way higher then the other two bids.

Susan, in the office, was great every time we spoke. As soon as they could get to me, Chris and his team came and did a magnificent job of removing dead wood and left the lot cleaner than they'd found it. My only "complaint" is that they were scheduled to be here around 2pm; when I hadn't seen or heard anything, I called Susan at about 5:40 and the crew was on the way, having had an emergency before me. I would have appreciated a call when they realized that emergency would delay them by hours getting to me (although I didn't have to be home for them to perform the scheduled work, I had waited in for them). Also, they left a yard sign up without asking my permission or even mentioning it to me, but I had told Chris I was thrilled with their work, so I imagine he assumed the free publicity would be OK with me. All in all, a very good experience, and I would not hesitate to use these folks again. Also, a 5% Angie's List discount. :-)

I found them on Angie's List, visited their website and submitted my name for a free estimate. Within a few hours I received a call from them. They came out shortly after to give the free estimate. As I was telling them what I wanted done, they made recommendations on two of the trees I was having serviced. They recommended that I have a couple of these trees removed rather than pruned due to the condition of the trees. Also I had asked them to re-evaluate one of the stumps I wanted to have grounded after the tree was removed as it was near a larger tree they were going to prune. They came back out and agreed that that stump should not be grounded and adjusted my estimate accordingly. They were very knowledgeable, professional, timely and honest.

Very good. They arrived when they said they would, removed EVERY scrap of debris and were gone inside 3 hours. Workmen were polite and efficient. Communication good from office. They kept in touch very well and were very apologetic when they had to cancel first appointment to help another client who had a fallen tree in their house; very understandable. I would definitely recommend them.

This company did a very professional work at my house. They came when they said they would and did exactly what they had to do. They left my yard in very good conditions without my trees.

The thing I liked best about this company was that when I called, they returned my call within 30 minutes and came right out. They cleaned up everything as we would have never known they were here. They also came back out and walked our property with us and told us that there were other trees that were diseased or dead. They then walked the property again alone.

404 Cut Tree has done a lot of work on my property. They are great. They were so easy to work with and did excellent work. They took away all of the large logs, the chips from the wood and got rid of the stumps. They made sure my yard was nice and clean. I have no complaints as they couldn't have been nicer. They even sent me a thank you note.

The crew arrived on Friday and did an excellent job in trimming the three trees. The crew cleaned up the area due to the cutting. The job took less than 2 hours. Received a 5% discount for being an Angie's List member.

They did not damage my house which very was impressive. They cleaned up well.

Bob came out on time to provide the estimate. He spent between 30 and 45 minutes on the property, making detailed notes, marking trees, and answering my questions. We agreed on the price and he said that they'd be out in the next few days to complete the job. The team came out, required no input from me to begin their work, and left the property cleaner than it was when they arrived. The next day the office followed up with a call to ensure satisfactory job and to close out the process.

Representatives made two visits to provide quotes and advice. Their representatives were professional, thorough and knowledgeable. They made several recommendations and noticed things when walking my property that the other companies did not. I would recommend getting a quote from these folks any time you need tree work done. They were not the cheapest, but were reasonable for the work they quoted.

I was quite pleased with the price, the crew, the quality of the work and the understanding of the company during a couple of wet weather delays.

404-CUT-TREE's representative was prompt in returning our call & in responding to complete the estimate. He was very informative & presented good ideas. The company performed the work in a manner that had the least amount of impact on the rest of the yard. The initial estimate was accurate. We were not required to pay until we were completely satisfied. This was not an issue however as the work was done well the first time. The job was started quickly & was completed earlier than was predicted. We will recommend 404-CUT-TREE to anyone having trees removed or pruned.

I want to give this company a good report; although I just got an estimate from them, they were on time, they were professional, and they called me to follow up. I got a lower price from another company that is getting started in my neighborhood, but I would definitely recommend this company.

One of the trees to be removed was tall, very dead, and leaning toward the house. The crew that came out was very polite and professional.
