They were fine. The price was a little less than I expected, they showed up on time, they left on time, they cleaned up behind themselves, and they did a good job.

They did what I asked them to do. They came when they said they would come which was not long after giving me an estimate. They completed all work when they said it would be completed. They did an excellent job cleaning up. They were courteous and professional. I highly recommend this company. They were very reliable, professional, and did excellent work. It was such a pleasure dealing with them. Everything went very smoothly.

WE were given an extimate and then they came 3-4 ays later. They worked very hard, cleaned up their mess!

The crew did not trim the one tree as I requested because the crew mis-read the instruction. So, it was good that I showed up in time and told them what was to be trimmed. They proceeded as instructed.

A highly trained group of men removed the tree expertly, using every safety precaution.

I called 404-Cut-Tree after seeing their trucks in our neighborhood and then checking them out on Angie's List. Again I was surprised to find a coupon I could use. We called and they came out and gave us an estimate and then gave up the coupon discount. We signed the contract and the following week a team came to cut down the tree, which was very large and wide, grind up the cut pieces and cleaned up the area. We were very pleased with the work they did and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their services. They were very professional and pleasant to work with.

Robert came and gave me an estimate--he was very knowledgable and helpful. The estimate was reasonable so I scheduled to have the work done. They were able to come out in a matter of days. They performed all the work as described, and they did a great job cleaning up any debris from the pruning. Additionally, I received a check from them weeks later, stating after a review of their work, their estimate was high and they were refunding the difference--making their work an ever better value! I will definitely be using them again for any tree work I need done.

The crew that arrived and completed our tree job were Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, from start to finish......................................................Can I keep them? :-D I NEED alot of stuff done around here! God Bless You ALL!

They came when they said and they knew what they were talking about.

The estimator came out on time and was very pleasant. He and my beau both served in Iraq so they found a point of connection and conversation. I felt like a received a pretty good deal for removal of 1 oak, 1 huge birch and a pear tree, some pruning and stump grinding. The work was quickly scheduled and performed. My only disappointments were the fact that cleanup consisted of blowing all the leaves, wood chips and debris back into my front yard and the act that the estimator and scheduler failed to inform me that stump grinding would not be done the same day. To compensate, they performed the stump grinding at no cost to me. I still have not received an invoice or receipt for my credit card payment. Other than this I was quite satisfied with their tree removal work. Update: After filing this report with Angie's list I received a bill in the mail for the stump removal. HOW TACKY that they would decide to reverse a previous decision after nearly three weeks!! Someone at the company apparently didn't agree with the courtesy. Final Resolution: The company chalked this up to a 'misunderstanding' and kindly credited me for the stump grinding fee. They went over and above to resolve this matter. Well done.

My experience was very good. From the estimator to the two individuals who did the work. They were on time and the clean up afterwards was great.

They did a wonderful job and exceeded my every expectation. They arrived on time, had the best price of the six companies I contacted, and they were extremely polite. Roberto and Michael were especially accomodating.

I was very impressed with every aspect of the work. I left for several hours while they worked. When I returned the work was done and everything was cleaned up and a trailer they needed to move was put back in place. They couldn't have done a better job. This is why I hire professionals.

They came to the house for an estimate to cut down 4 trees. I was impressed that they brought with them a list of references for recent jobs that they done and that they showed me evidence of providing workmen compensation for their employees. I was very surprised at the price (~$1200 to cut down four trees and to grind the stumps) since I had been quoted ~$4000 from other places. I was a little skeptical since their price was so much lower. However, I was extremely pleasantly surprised. They came and took down the trees in a few hours, didn't tread all over the flowers or damage the yard and cleaned up after themselves. They even got rid of some fallen branches that had been on the ground before they came. If I hadn't known that they had been there, I wouldn't have known that they had been there (other than the fact that the trees were gone). Everyone who came to the house was courteous and professional. I will definitely use them again. I have already recommended them to several people.

Ice storm was causing problems at the time but they still were able to come out and give estimate in a timely manner. Service was prompt and very professional. Final cost under the estimate and staff friendly.

Excellent! Fast, thorough, correct response to requests, great cleanup - asked if I was satisfied after work. Rep called the next day to inquire. Tho' I do not always go with the lowest bid , they were the lowest by many $. Picked them on the basis of Angie's List and presentation by estimator. Was not disappointed - will be my first call in the future.

Neighbor informed me that a tree of mine fell on her property. 404-CUT-TREE sent Robert to prepare a bid, and they were able to get him out pretty quickly. Robert was professional and the bid was very reasonable, with a couple options for how it would be handled...but while Robert was there, he determined that the tree was actually a massive limb, and it wasn't from my tree at all, but from my neighbor's. So 404-CUT-TREE helped me save money by avoiding the expense altogether. But I will definitely call them next time I have a tree need.

We were very impressed with Bob, who appears to be knowledgeable and honest. However, the estimate for the tree removable seemed somewhat high, so we used another tree service.

The experience went very well: -The estimate was thorough and complete and included references/insurance coverage information up front so I did not have to ask for them -The scope of work exceeded expectations under difficult circumstances. One of the reasons the area was being cleared was due to drainage issues and the need to install a drainage system. The area was soaked and there was standing water all around and work was on a slope. Despite this they not only did an excellent job completing the work but they put sheets of wood down so the equipment would not damage the area and the did a excellent job cleaning up when they were finished. The yard, the driveway, the street were all thoroughly cleaned up before they left. -The area in question looks great.

Dave, the owner, arrived as requested for an appointment to walk my property and discuss the work that needed to be done. As an arborist, he was able to assist in evaluating certain trees that I was unsure of. To his credit, he saved trees by having the ivy cut from the base aroung the perimeter to enable the large pine trees to live. And I found, after the fact, a tree that he could have probably thrown in the mix that I hadn't requested an opinion, that he could have suggested that it be cut. I was called in advance of the appointment date that we had agreed upon, and everyone showed up on time. Dave put two full crews on the job to get it done in one day since I could only be off my job for the Friday before and the Monday of the actual cutting. Despite the bad weather the prior night, I was called at 9 a.m. that day to assure me that the crews would be coming at 10-ish. They did.. with two huge trucks, a bobcat (the driver was amazing), and these guys worked constantly all day except for a short lunch break. It was cold and windy in the morning. They finished about 5:30. When they were finished, my drive and the road in front of my house had been blown clean. The stump grinders missed two small (hidden) parts of the stumps and I have not yet called 404-CUT-TREE with the info since I just learned about it. The grinders came on the 18th, only a few days after the cutting. I was called the day after to see if I was satisfied but was too busy to return the call. All in all, these folks are great. I used them last year, and will use them again.

They made recomendations on what needed done on our wooded lot. They marked each tree then priced each tree individually and gave discount for total list. The work was done efficiently without any damage to other trees or the house. One tree removed was leaning over the house. I was allowed to add some old fallen branches to their chipper.

They did great work and there weren't any problems. They were very nice and pleasant to deal with. They were prompt and professional.

We decided not to do the work, however this wasn't anything to do with the company. If we needed any future tree work done in the future, we would call them.

The person who came out seemed very experienced, competent, professional and honest. They came out when they said they would and did the job very professionally and safely. We had more confidence in them than the other 8 people we interviewed for the job. We were very satisfied with their work. Their price was on the high end, but I thought it was a fair price. I would use them again in future.

I thought that the amount of time it took them to get this done was good. I would hire them again.
